[Seraphinox]

Zareal finally arrived at the "safe haven". He was out of breath and was gasping for air.

He ducked inside and decided to wait for the others.

Ash quickly arrived after him. He knelt over, panting; he was clearly exhausted.

"What is this place?" Zareal asked looking around him at the interior. "and are you sure we'll be safe"

[Dath]

"This...is a base for the Rebel Alliance. Even those assassins will think twice about assaulting this place," Ash spoke softly.

[Seraphinox]

""assassins?, Rebel alliance?" asked Zareal. "whats this, is the country embroiled in turmoil or war or something?"

Sighing, Ash turned to Zarael. "How new are you to this land? Yes, the country is divided; an evil overlord took our lands after killing his way through the numerous continents, and eventually he presided over the entire country. I helped establish this Rebel group to disturb his "Holiness" so that I can rescue one of the only people I care about," He quickly explained.

"ummm This is my first time here, I'm from Elibe" Zareal said "also his holiness?, doesn't sound threatening"

"Elibe...? Where is that? Is that some island?" Ash asked. Sighing, he said, "No matter. The Emperor is probably one of the most dangerous men on this continent, or the world."

"Elibe is my home continent, i was part of a pirate crew who came here to pillage the land, but I got thrown overboard and now I don't where my ship is or where the hell I am" Zareal said "Thanks though, for saving my life"

[Mankut]

Mankut arrived after the Ash and Zareal. He was breathing heavily and sat down on a couch. "I think we lost them", Mankut said.

Zorn blinked. Apparently he'd fallen asleep. "Yawwwwnnn... Hm. I guess I know where they went. Didn't cover their tracks very well." Zorn followed the path of undergrowth and arrived at a building (?). "This is it? I expected something more... Valuable." Zorn muttered to himself, noting the complete lack of any possessions that suggested any wealth, let alone enough to hire someone such as him.

Zareal heard someone approaching from outside. He decided to call out. "Who's out there?" he said

Zorn heard somebody call out, sounding like Zareal. "Hey, Zareal? It's Zorn. Think you could let me in to this... "Fort"?" Zorn yelled back, wondering if the enemy soldiers were too inept to track two people yelling.

Zareal realised that Ash had closed the door they had come in through. He went over to it. Not able to find the handle he gave the door a good kick. The door fell forward and revealed to be just a piece of tree bark.

He poked his head outside the "Door" and noticed zorn. "In here" he said

Zorn saw a piece of bark fall off of the shelter and noticed that it was supposedly a door. "Um... Okay..." Zorn said, unnerved at the fact that he actually had wanted to be hired by people who couldn't afford a door.

Zareal asked "Wait, how did you find us? we thought we had escaped all the soldiers without anyone seeing us"

"You left a giant path. Stomping through the forest like that is like gluing a target to your back that says 'STAB ME'." Zorn looked at Zareal, wondering if he didn't know this because he was a pirate, or for other reasons.

Zareal looked up at Zorn. Then said " you don't look like that one *pointed at Ash* Where are you from?"

Zorn snorted. "I'm glad of that, considering how much he knew about tracking. I'm from Magvel. It's another island."

"Magvel huh, Yeah we stopped over there on our way here. I'm from Elibe, we stopped in some place called Carcino. Town full of idiots."

"How did you get here though" asked Zareal
