Cecil stood in awe, not used to any talk of outside the village. The men went to hunt sometimes, and brought home a little something here and there, but never would they talk of the outside world. "What did the king do? And king of where? Is there a lot of kings? How about Princess'? Are there a lot of those?"

"Heh...one King. One Princess. One Prince. One Queen." Skyler muttered.

Cecil disappointingly says "Only one? How can one man rule the whole world... He must be a strong fighter."

"Maybe. Maybe not." Skyler stated.

Cecil pondered for a moment and asked "Are you staying in town the night? Or running off again?"

"I'm staying for one more night, then I leave." Skyler said. "Why do you wish to know?" He asked.

Cecil just smiled and said "I've never met someone so interesting before. Even though I'm an adult,I still haven't been allowed to leave town. Do you have any more stories?"

"Hm...no, not really. Tell me...do you know how to fight? To...wield a blade, of some sort?" Skyler asked.

Cecil looked down and said "I kinda know the basics of using a sword... And a spear...As a kid I always wanted to be a cavalier in someone's army, but I could never find a teacher."

"Heh...how would you like to come with me? I could teach you to wield a blade. For free." Skyler said, looking the man in the eyes.

Cecil gasped. "I would love that! Could we sneak out before Dawn though? I don't like goodbyes..."

"Sure, if you wish. Don't you wish to tell your parents where you're going, though?" Skyler inquired.

Cecil looked down again. "I'm kinda worried I'd be disappointing them..."

"Hm? Very well, suit yourself. I'd at least leave a note, so they don't worry that you're dead, or were kidnapped or something like that." Skyler said, looking slightly amused.

"I'll leave them a note at my house, so it'll be a few days after we leave before we notice. They'll just think I'm gone hunting or something." Cecil points to his house again, "Just knock on the door in the morning when you're ready to leave, unless you need a place to stay, I have extra bedding."

"No, I'm fine. I'll come and get you in the morning. Have a good sleep." Skyler said, starting to walk back to his brother's blacksmiths.

Cecil nodded and walked into his house,for he never left it locked, not like he had much to steal anyways. He packed everything, and wrote a note before heading to bed. For he must get up early tomorrow morning, he reasoned.

Leona, confused at what had just happened, ran after the man who had been talking to Cecil previously and said, "Wait! I would like to talk to you sir!"

Walks up to Skyler and Cecil. " Hell, if you're going, I am too. I've stolen... ah... "Legitimately acquired" this place dry and I need some more space to practice my "talents". And... look at that kid. You know why you haven't seen him before? He's a morph... ghoul... whatever you want to call it. I saw him sneak in last night. That's my knife in his throat."
