((He found them in thrown away lightsabers.))

Raelin went back to his dorm and made sure he was ready for the mission. He checked his lightsaber one more time and turned off the light.

[Dave Strider]

"Wow. That's awesome. Thanks, Raelin."

Ronin activated it to see what it looked like. A golden beam appeared from the end of the lightsaber, and he admired how well done it was. Deactivating it, he went to his own dorm (following Raelin part of the way in order to not get lost) and ate, then decided to get some rest. Tomorrow was a big day, and he wnated to prepared for it.

Day Two:


Alethar woke up, feeling great after his meditation and rest. He realized this was the day of the mission, and after putting on his robes and holstering his lightsabers, walked towards the main square of the temple, where he had received a message telling him to meet there. He looked around, but didn't see anyone. "Guess I must be the first one here." He thought, sitting next to a large fountain as he waited for the others.


Skyler awoke to the noise of a tapping on his door, and then realized it was his Master, and they had to get ready for the mission today. He quickly pulled on his robes, and after grabbing his lightsaber, opened the door. He saw his Master ready to go, wearing his robes, with his lightsaber hanging by his waist. "Let's go, Skyler." His Master said, gesturing for Skyler to walk alongside him. "Yes, Master." Skyler fell into step by his master, and they walked the rest of the way to the square in silence. As they arrived, they saw one of the others, a Zabrak named Alethar. He recognized him as his opponent, and they both nodded at one another.

Raelin slipped into his black robes and fastened his lightsaber to the belt. He packed some basic tools in case any mechanics went wrong. He ran out of the room and nearly crashed into Master Brahm. "Are you ready Raelin?" he asked.

Raelin nodded and asked, "Are we too late?"

"No, not at all." said Master Brahm. "I was going down the meeting spot. Are you coming?"

"Sure." said Raelin smiling. The two went to the meeting spot and saw Skyler's master waving to them.

Skyler saw him master look up, then wave, seeing another student and his Master. "Ah, you're here. Seems we're almost ready, only one more member has to show up." His Master said, walking over to the new arrivals. Skyler stood up and walked to his master's side, smiling as they waited for the other person to arrive.

Alethar saw the two walk into the square, and stood up to join the others. As he stood up, he did a final review of his equipment. He looked it all over and wrote it down, keeping a list as refernce so he could check if anything was missing.

Utility Tool (Basically a Swiss Army Knife)

((Just post your inventory, I thought this would be a good way to keep track of who has what, so we don't end up with any items that we pull out of thin air. Rules are: Lightsaber(s), 3 utility items (Stuff that you think might be useful for a mission, and a sidearm. The sidearm should be something easily concealed and lightweight, like Alethar's thermal detonators (Grenades) or Skyler's vibroknife.))

Ronin woke up. "Dammit! I'm so late! I'll have to get going quickly..."

Ronin rushed to the meeting spot only to find the meeting hadn't started yet. "Oh... so I'm not late after all. Uh, great!"

Ronin's Inventory:
Silver lightsaber
Gold lightsaber
Medical salve (functions the same as basic mediacal kit but more portable)
Adaptable screwdriver (functions the same as basic repair kit but more portable)

Alethar saw the last of the other students come in, looking like he had just rolled out of bed. He then heard Skyler's master clear his throat and prepare to speak.

Skyler saw the last of the students arrive, and his master cleared his throat to make a speech. "Hello everyone. Seeing that you're all here, I might as well get this started. We're going to go survey an unexplored planet near the outer rim, as some masters have been feeling some weak... disturbances... from the surface of the planet. This shouldn't be too hard, as there's probably just an old Sith artifact there. The only other possibility... No, that's impossible. Anyways, everyone ready to go?"

Alethar nodded, eager to go on this mission to prove himself.

Skyler grinned and said yes, looking forward to his first real mission.

Skyler's master, walking with the others to their cruiser, heard a beeping in his pocket. He pulled out a small communicator, and read the onscreen message. He looked up, and said, "Looks like the Council thought there should be one more of us coming." He sent a message back, telling the Council of their location- in the hangar, next to the light cruiser 'Majestic Galaxy'.

Raelin checked his repair and medical kit for the last time. He had added some extras to the repair kit, giving it a much wider variety of problems to repair. He glanced at his master, who was busy talking with Skyler's master. Raelin saw Ronin looking half asleep.

He went over to Ronin and asked, "Did you sleep well yesterday?"

Lothor deftly rushed through the hallways of the academy, towards his destination, Despite the speed at which he moved, his footsteps were not overly loud. How could I have overslept? he thought to himself foolishly, having spent the entire night deep in the study of some ancient Jedi lore that had managed to pique his interest before going to bed. He eventually skidded into the hangar, near his destination ship, almost out of breath.

Stack of flimsy for note-taking

"Ah" Skyler's master said, seeing the last apprentice dash into the hangar. "Seems we're all ready now. Come on everybody, our mission awaits." Skyler followed his master into the craft, taking a seat next to a medium size round table, ringed by four chairs.

Alethar followed the Master into the ship, and walked up to the large data screen to try and find more information on this so called 'uncharted' planet.

The ship looks roughly like this text illustration.

"Well at least you're on time." said Raelin going into the ship.

"Yup. Close call, though..."

[Nils]

Raelin sat down and strapped in as the ship's engine hummed to life. The controls flashed and the piolet made the final checklist of the passengers and the ship.

[Roque Minonovo]

Lothor quickly followed suit, strapping himself into one of the vacant seats towards the front of the ship. He took a long, deep breath and closed his eyes, awaiting the eventual takeoff.

The pilot, a slightly overweight Twi'lek, looked back into the cabin, checking that all them members of the mission were on board. He told the two students not strapped into one of the seats (Alethar and Ronin) to get one, and they did, hastily putting on the straps. "Okay the, everyone ready?" A collective 'yes' rolled through the cabin. "Okay then, we're off." He turned back to his controls and started the ship, quickly rising through the atmosphere. "You may now remove your restraint belts" An automated voice droned, as they had entered the space around Couruscant. "Everyone make yourselves comfortable... We've got a long ride ahead of us." Skyler's master said, leaning back in his chair.


Alethar removed his belt, and after grabbing a small snack, went to his bunk. He deposited his stuff in a locker at the foot of the bed, and lay down for a nap, as he had not slept well last night. As he slept, he dreamed of standing on a bleak world, all ash and the rusted hulks of ships long shot down. He heard a voice, a voice of evil... A voice he had heard when he was just a child, before he was found by his current master... He did not know this voice, but it filled him with dread.


Skyler woke up, having nodded off during takeoff. He heard a snippet of speech about how long the ride would be, and went back into a deep dreamless sleep, waiting for the mission to begin.

Raelin watched the others drift off to sleep. Even his master dozed off. He looked out the window into the endless sea of stars. He liked the dark. It made him wonder what was there. The feeling of safety and peace he felt in the dark was just...well...peaceful.

He finally forced himself to sleep wondering what the world would be like.
