Ephraim's story. I'm biased against Erika because she reminds me of that whore Lachesis. <.<
That whore Lachesis reminds me of this RP character named Aiya. You will have to be Rein to get this.

Semi-necro post. Weeee

Eirika's route may have more story, but imo, Ephraim's had a more interesting story. I dunno, I like the background of the war, Vigarde, and the Dark Stone better than Pablo's mercenaries and Caer Plyn (however the f*ck that's spelled, lmao).

To me, no route is really BETTER than the other...they're both just different. And I just happen to like Ephraim's better than Eirika's.

I prefer Ephraim's route. Neither are bad, but I just picked Ephraim's because I could get Amelia easier.

lol, you can just rush Franz there and recruit her with him. Whereas you have to deal with status staves and such in Ephraim... >_>

Meh, I never use Franz or almost any Horse based units aside from Flying units.

Why? Franz is the best cavalier ever IMO.

Cavalier may be the key word. I personally don't like cavaliers/paladins because of their "balanced" stats.

I dunno, in all games aside from Fe4, Fe5 and Fe9 I try to steer clear of horseback units.

That might be what he's saying.

Although, Ledah, you're right about Franz. Cavalier-wise he's pretty awesome.

^ They're not usually balanced, the Red cavalier is usually very strong but slow and the Green one is the opposite, Franz is the exception that proves the rule, he's golden(I think, like Lowen??) and a lot better for it haha

Woops, meant balanced as far as caps go, not growths. My b.

Eg, most Paladains have maxes of low-mid twenties rather than upper twenties/thirty, like most foot units.

Oh, that makes much more sense, yeah paladins caps are pretty bad, they can never realise their full potential sad.gif

Of course, doing 54x2 with 8 speed to spare against a 40 HP monster and 50x2 with 6 speed to spare is functionally identical. However, they have more move. Their caps only ever really hurt them for post-game stuff like Wifi.

I'm a simple guy. Big numbers are cool =D. I'd rather have 30 Str and 28 Spd with 6 move than 25 str and 24 spd with 8 move.

edit. Uh, yeah.

Has it occurred that Franz can "move again" after recruiting Amelia?

Yeah, Paladins are amazing except for LA.

Yeah, I don't use them mainly because they tend to run ahead and steal exp also.

"Steal EXP" is the most retarded excuse ever. Guess what? Ephraim steals EXP as much as anyone. So does Lute. Amelia, Ewan, and Ross REALLY do. Saying that you don't use them because because they steal experience is illogical, as now THEIR EXPERIENCE IS BEING STOLEN. And how is going ahead a problem? The only examples I can think of are Orson and arguably Eyvel, which is still a pretty weak point with her. In fact, units like Seth actually steal LESS EXP because they only level 19 times, not 38.

How is going ahead a disadvantage? That's like calling a machine gun worse than a claymore because the machine gun goes faster. And kills stuff more easily.

Woah, anyone have a chill pill?^^

Anyway...Imo, Pallies are only worse than other units because they tend to have inferior stats, and in most games their movement range isn't THATworthwhile anyway (except in ranked runs, but doing those every playthrough is boring and pointless).

They were really good in Fe4 and Fe5 because the combat and stat systems are a bit different, and in Fe9 because they actually have really good caps.

I don't like paladins my self either.
Oh and as for the question this topic is dedicated too. I always played Eirikas route as a child because my friend said it was easier. Then when I grew older I wanted to play fire emblem 7 so I got the game. I liked fire emblem 7 so much that I forgot all about fe8. So basicly what I'm saying is that fe7 (and all the other fe games imo) are so much better then fe8 that I never found my self wanting to play fe8 again just to do ephraim's route.
Why does everyone have a signature but me? Oh wait...

So you like Eirika's route more. That's good. There's a flock of birds here voting for the boring Ephraim Route. :s

Who care, you can beat the game in a matter of hours anyway, and regaurdless, you get the same stupid ending where you kill a demon king in like 2 attacks,( he is, after all, like a retarded fire dragon that is like 1/8 the diffuiculty)
