So expect next demo to have at the very least the correct support characters. Not sure how many conversations will be completed at the time, but at least the characters won't be supporting whoever would have been supportable to the character they replaced from FE8 based off their placement.
On the graphics side, I only have 5 more player characters to create portraits for. After I'm through with that and the writing, I'll probably get back to the hacking part of this project.

Firstly, the events for Chapter 9 Brenna have been completed and tested, everything is working. Other portions of the chapter have also been finished, such as the boss data, text, and so forth.
The support pairings have been set up as well. So definitely when I release the next demo I would recommend you start from the beginning again, not only because I'm going to try to make improvements to the early chapters, but because of this:

Yes, those screens are both from the same save file. If you've used supports they'll get messed up.
And one last thing I want to show is a preview of the new Brenna battle sprite I'm working on.

Yes, she'll still look similar to Eirika (already based the sprites for her promotion off Eirika, so I really have no choice) but this one will look a lot better than the color edit of Eirika, because the colors on the sprite will be better organized to fit her palette.
And yes, Brenna is officially left handed.

Regarding the supports, man, that could be troublesome. Thankfully I did no such thing on my playthrough. Although it worries me regarding what I will do for some of my other hacks and their supports... *ponders*... I'll live huh?
More importantly, good to hear you have progress on the events front. It's cool to know there will be other customized hacks with custom events. I'm looking forward to a complete patch. Keep it up.

Note that I didn't include the magic sword animation in the video, but that's because it doesn't have any truly unique frames, the critical animation has all the frames the magic animation has.

This one is fully custom, I only used Brenna's sprite as a model for sprite size to make sure Bellona's height makes sense along side her sister. I based her design off her portrait, as you probably would expect; her axe is modeled after the graphic for her prf weapon, the Damen Beil.

I know what you're probably thinking: "What? A playable Civilian?" Yes! But she's not useless, she can wield lances and also acts as a thief. (She can use lockpicks.)

She may look familiar to those of you who played the demo.


Uses Amelia's trainee battle sprite. (Also, OMG! Generic enemy with an accurate name!)

And yes, the map does look empty. That's because I've only started on the events for it and haven't placed all the enemies yet. XD

On a side note, I added your hack to the mainsite. I gave a little bit of information myself and copy/pasted the background to the story.

Aside from that, I used some of the screens on the 1st post to show the hack. You're allowed 9 screens on the main page and a link to a screenshot gallery or some post with more screenshots if you want (as well as links to whatever else you might want, such as videos or a website).

Looks ugly right now, and the map itself is fairly plain, but it's better than simply being Magvel. I will have to do some TSA hacking for this to actually look good, obviously. TSA hacking is something I haven't done with Fire Emblem yet, but it's something I'm planning to get into soon, clearly.

Also did this real quickly using Kate's World Map TSA patch. Although there are some issues with the top right corner of the map, as you can see. So I would also need to do some TSA hacking with this map too, even if I were to use Kate's hack in the final version.
Edit: Page display glitch due to me attempting to delete posts (which failed XD).
