The FEditor is hard as hell if compared to some programs to edit some older games like Chrono Trigger and Super Mario RPG. ;-)

Nah, not 10....42. XD Should give us time for...about 3 random encounters?
Anyways, yes, it is a first. But I think we should explore our possibilities first. We don't even have a plot ready, we don't know if we will be following the game's events, or if we will do slightly different. (For example, our Terra being also a soldier from the empire, not a girl with amnesia.)
Good thing we can make maps already, that is one worry that is past us now.

How about having Kefka reborn?

Actually, me and bblues have been talking about it. Kefka is a member of the team. xD We're pretty much thinking about it being Awesome Old School characters on a quest to kill the faggy new ones, like Tidus and stuff. But hey, we can work all that out.
No need to make sprite sheets, my sprite editor has you edit them right in it. It just requires some work.
I'll edit in a list of editors I have.

-Character Sprite Editors. For everyone.
-Monster Sprite Editor.
-Shop Editor.
-Weapon Editor.
-SRAM Editor, but I haven't gotten it to work. I also haven't messed around it a lot.
-Full Stats editor for Characters and Monsters, Items, pretty much everything.
-A map editor, and also a script editor. Still trying to get that one to work too.
-No Text Editor, but we can apparently use a Hex editor like WindHex32 to edit that.
