Yes that is exactly how it works. Your team goes against another team and the team that gets the most amount of points that week wins. Then you go against another team the following week. After the first week, I'll post by the head to head against Shu as a visual.

Ryan is starting Peterson, Jones-Drew AND Williams? He pulls no punches. But New Orleans is playing Detroit, so I predict Brees and Colston to do well.

Apparently Larry Fitzgerald is going to donate an autographed football for every ball he catches.
So each person that drafted him in fantasy have a chance at winning of you keep him in your starting line up.
