Leona looked around, she saw what looked to a be a young mage talking to her, followed by the archer from earlier.

First, she addressed the mage, "I am Leona, and please do come with us, since not many others will be, it is something that is needs lots of help."

Then she readdressed the horsed archer from earlier, "I do not want to say it too loudly, let me just say he is very important. If you and this mage here want to follow me, keep to either side, as I don't want anything in my back if I can help it."

"Wait", Suoh said."I'm coming too, if that's all right with you."

((Cough, Don is elderly, not quite young.))

"I believe that I may be able to aid you with my...interesting magics," Don said, showing Leona his Freeze tome.

Leona looked around and said, "Ok ok! Come with, hurry up though, before 'Kraan' comes back or the sun goes down, we need to make haste to our destination!"

Joshua took a position on the left side of Leona and the old man, his new bow in hand. "Then let's ride!"

Seeing everyone riding off, Victor realized that he wasn't up for all the running. Making his way back through the plains, he headed to his castle. Seeing the damage done to it, he sighed and started the long job of repairing it, which would take many days.

Kraan made another portal, this one going to the destroyed village. When he stepped through, he could see empty shells of armor. Kraan walked back down the steps, looking through the former battlefield. As he stepped to the end, a spirit emerged from the skeleton of the old man that died in the battle in here, and flung some of the holy water onto Kraan's face. "Ugh... That stung. You'll pay for that." Kraan said, summoning a spirit, which shortly dispatched the old man's ghost. Kraan walked back further, and there he found a suit of armor. "Heh... Perfect..." Kraan put it on, and felt his power increase exponentially. "Ahahaha... I'll destroy them... I'll destroy the obstacles."

Leona said to Suoh, as she and the old man began walking away, "Alright, let's hurry up and go! I don't want to be near here when Kraan gets back at all".

Kraan was working on his armor, refining it with shadows to act as a muffler for any energy of a different sort. As he put it back on, he accidently stepped in a puddle of blood left by the battle a few days earlier. The armor sucked up the blood, the area near it gaining a slight reddish tinge. Kraan then smiled and walked out of the shrine.

((SURPRISE VISIT))

Cecil met up with Josef again. All around Cecil was the dried stains of blood and life essence. Cecil had killed so many, absorbed so much. He was entirely new and could easily handle the power of this armor. Nodding at Josef, he walked into the last shrine, finding the third and last mystical armor. Smirking, he absorbed it into his armor, and his strength grew exponentially. He know had his own gravitational pull and could send shockwaves from his fingertips. Smirking once again, he took all the spears from inside the shrine with him. Testing his powers he cut off all the spearheads without moving, and then rammed them together, making them into four long chains of spear heads. They then orbited around him fast enough to cut anything that tried to get in. Smirking he left the shrine, and let his new toys destroy it.

Victor finally finished repairing his castle. Finally, after the trek through the woods with those adventurers, he felt brave enough to go on a boat.

However, as he was exploring the dungeon of his castle, he found something interesting. A metal ship. Getting on it, he went to the wheel. Feeling happy he moved it a bit, and suddenly everything shook. It started making sounds, and he suddenly wondered how it got there. Suddenly the ship pushed forward, and burst out through the courtyard of the castle.

Looking down, he almost puked, the ship was floating. Returning to the wheel, he heard "Information Acquired. The ship will only listen to the Captain's orders."
Victor was stunned, and thought "Captain Victor... Amazing."
Hiding his airship back in the castle, he ran to the nearest port town, hiring some of his old friend's cousins, for his new pirate crew.

Kraan sent a bolt of shadow energy into each body he encountered in the ruined village, then raised them, creating soldiers, imbued with the barest semblance of life, to do his bidding. As he finished, he heard a loud screeching noise coming from along the road. Kraan remembered the fort the pirate had claimed and walked over there with his shadow force of about three dozen.

Victor, returning to the castle, having found no one who believed him about his airship, sat down depressed. Lugging all the ale and whiskey he found onto the ship, he realized he could not open the hull. Depressed again, he started drinking.

Kraan, having reached the castle, burst its doors with a focused beam around the hinges. As he walked in, he saw the pirate sitting next to an airship. "Ah... Victor. You got yourself an airship? But it looks like you have nobody to fly it..." Kraan made a mock dissappointed face, then motioned to his forces and said "These things do, however."

Victor, surprised, and drunk said "Waaaaah. Kra? kra.. Kra... Carrrn? Kran? Kran! Hows its going ole buddy ole pal? yes siree ree this here is mah airship. only ise can fly it wanna go for a spinnn?"

[Rennac]

Kraan, taken aback by Victor's reaction, said, "You should... Rest. Sleep." With that, Kraan enveloped Victor's head in a blanket of shadow, sending him quickly to sleep.

Victor slept. And slept. And dreamt of more alcohol and flying around the world with his airship and his mighty crew.

Josef grimaced; Skyler had cut deep into his leg, nearly cutting it off. Josef muttered a quick few words, and his leg began to reseal itself. Looking up, he noticed what Cecil was doing.

"Cecil, stop. The Emperor has ordered us to leave the temple intact," Josef commanded.

[Holy Kensai]

Cecil snarled. Who was this weak mortal getting in the way of his fun? "Josef. Why do we need the king? He's useless. A little puppet puppeteering other puppets. I say we cut those strings. Have a little fun. I hear cities begging to play with my toys. C'mon Josef. The world is begging to be shown our power, let's show them."

[Rennac]

Kraan, tired of waiting, kicked Victor awake. "Wake up, we'll need to go. Now." Kraan grimaced as he walked towards the ship, bottles strewn across the deck.

"The Emperor has more powers than you can possibly imagine. We order to him, not to you," Josef spat. "We leave now."
