As the fight outside had raged on, Joshua had dismounted and went into the shrine to retrieve the bow. It was of good quality, made of some white material the felt like bark. There was a quiver of arrows there too, all gilded in white. It must've been the owner's color.

He came back outside and got onto his horse without a word. He saw Kraan standing with a different man then the one he had been fighting with. He looked around for more people and saw Leona with some old man. He nodded to her, and heeled his horse towards them. "So, is this the employer you spoke of earlier?"

Kran looked over and saw Joshua walking over to Leona and some old man. Kraan thought to himself, "An old guy? Is he her grandfather or something? Ah, no matter." Kraan walked over there, and asked "So... If your... Client.... Was this old guy, Leona, why'd you have to set up those traps?"

"There are other things out here in this forest, than us, boy," Skyler said, coming from behind him. His sword was still out, as he looked cautiously around.

Seraph still running felt he was nearing the shrine. He stopped on the outskirts of a field and hid behind a tree, he looked across and saw people on the other side
One was sitting on a horse and had a very fancy ornate bow on his back.
Seraph said to himself: "That would make a good gift to master"

He had picked his target, now he needed to acquire it...

"Boy? Heh... I'm older then you... Noticed the eyes yet? "Kraan asked, staring into Skyler's eyes with his piercing yellow ones.

"Do you honestly believe that had ever though you were a human? Your manner, actions, beliefs...they all symbolize that of a morph. The only reason I kept it to myself was out of compassion, that you might not be a complete idiot. Obviously, I was wrong. And if you think that I am what I appear to be, do not concern yourself with petty beliefs such as that...just believe me in what I say..." Skyler said, brushing off Kraan with a wave of his hand.

"Heh heh... HAHAHAHAHAHA! Believe you?! Why would I do that?! I could kill you... Kill you all. I don't have to fight fair, you know." Kraan then stabbed his spear into the ground, the grass around it wilting for five feet in every direction. "Enjoy..." Kraan smirked as he walked away, shadowy forms rising out of the ground everywhere.

"How exciting," Skyler muttered, twisting his hand around. The shadows slowly began to sink into the ground, melting away with a flick of his wrists.

"Okay, you can make phantoms disappear. I'm impressed. I thought all you could do was run away. Or hit people with cheap shots." Kraan extended his hands to one side of the forest, feeling himself grow much stronger as he absorbed energy from the trees. When he was done, a wide swath of trees was left completely dead. Kraan saw his lance glitter, seeming to get power from the tension in the air.

"And all I thought you could do was create weaklings and suck the life out of trees. Obviously, you're not much better than that, as I suspected," Skyler said, taunting this guy.

Seraph got closer, but noticed that there was a large fight erupting.

Maybe this had been a bad choice...

"Well, it is useful... For this." Kraan plunged his spear into the ground again, shooting all of his newfound energy into the ground. "Can't make these go away..." Kraan said as a giant fissure was created, shooting countless rocks and heaps of dirt.

[Hughes]

"Dammit! This is nonsence!" Joshua said, looking at Kraan and his new opponent in disgust. "All it is is a brutish display of power. Leona, I'd like to take you up on your previous offer, if it still stands."

From nowhere came a small boy's body, smashing into Kraan's powerful spear and breaking it into thousands of pieces, which faded into the win, lost FOREVER. Inside the small body was the wounds as if a spear had gone through him, and his lifeforce was sucked out.

Victor found two stronger shields, and took them. Heading outside he saw what seemed to be a battle of insecurity.

Suoh woke up. A rock had hit him in the head, rudely jerking him from his sleep. He looked around groggily, not knowing where he was. Then he saw Skylar and Kraan and remembered.

Leona looked at the new archer and told him, "Yeah, get anyone here you think won't explode like Kraan here did, and meet me back here; we are leaving for a while."

The old man muttered something inaudible under his breath as he looked at the battle between Skyler and Kraan.

Kraan looked at the body of the small boy in disgust. " Hmm... I guess it's time to go." Kraan held his shield up to eye level, and then muttered an incantation engraved on the rim of the shield. " Goodbye. " He said as a dark portal opened up in front of him.

When Kraan reappeared, he was at an ancient summoning circle. "Perfect... The fools thought that was because of the lance... Heh." Kraan said as he knelt in the middle and started to read the faded writings engraved on the stones ringing the circle.

Don started forward, and asked, "Excuse me, but who are you people? It's not everyday you see a fight break out, and I'm bored of my old man's life. I want more adventure. Is it alright if I come with you?" He said, asking Leona.

Joshua nodded and turned his horse to leave, but stopped when Kraan disappeared. "Well good riddance!" He said. "Now, if I may Leona, who is this man?"

Kraan was in a small tent, in a patch of trees next to the summoning circle. "Ahehehheh... Now that I've learned, there is notihing I have to gain from this place." Kraan set his shield against the largest pillar, draining the dark energy from the summoning circle. As Kraan felt the sudden rush of power, he suddenly knew what he must do. "That shrine... The armor!" Kraan thought, remembering the armor Cecil had goten from the shrine in the ruined village. "He couldn't take the power... But I can control myself..."
