[Seraphinox]

Seraph awoke from his hiding place
He had chosen well, out of sight of anyone, near enough to a shrine he did not know. He started to come out of his hiding place when he heard footsteps.

He waited till the person had gone past before coming out
The person was a girl, she was headed for the shrine, he was intrigued and decided to follow(stealthily)

Victor could hear movement all around him. Getting a bit concerned, he ducked into the shrine, and started looking through the armors and shields, keeping a safe distance from anything wooden.

Kraan started to hear rustlings in the trees, and saw Victor look concernedly about and duck into the shrine. "Ugh... Coward." He muttered. "If these are more of the king's forces, at least we have a choke point..." Kraan saw a flash of blue in the trees to the right of him. "Blue? The army doesn't wear blue... Mercenaries, then?" He thought to himself. "They're no match for m- ... No, us." Kraan thought, surprised to see that joshua was still out here.

Tired of following the girl because she was too slow, Seraph decided to cut off the route and head to the shrine by a different path, He did not know what was there but if other people were going it must be interesting

He dived off the path and into the undergrowth and started briskly running towards the direction of the shrine, or what he hoped it was...

Josef strode through the trees, absorbing whatever creature came into his path, human or not. Suddenly, he came into an empty field, where an altar stood. There, were the humans who dared defy him and his lord.

"Come out, so that I may have the honor of killing you all off, you curs." He called out, taunting them so that they would come to him.

[Rennac]

"Hmm? Someone actualy came out of hiding? Who are y-" Kraan started to ask, but then he saw who it was, and his mouth drew up in a wicked smile. " Josef... Are you prepared for... nothing? You'll just return to dust, crumble away on the winds. I'll enjoy this... " Kraan then reached behind his back, and pulled out his old spear with his left hand, the new... unique one with his right. Kraan stood on the steps to the shrine, holding a lance in each hand, his face twisted into a demonic sneer.

[Dath]

"Well, if it isn't Kraan, the cowardly, traitorous, fool!" Josef said, launching from his outstretched hands a stream of white hot lightning.

(( And he shouted, "Power! Unlimited power!" as Mace Windu tumbled from a window. ))

Kraan twisted out of the way, the lightning taking out a chunk of the shrine's wall. "Looks like you have a few tricks up your sleeve, huh?" Then Kraan jumped up, yelled HADOKEN, and obliterated Josef. Kraan's mouth twitched. "I have some too." With that, Kraan pointed the tip of his new lance at Josef, feeling the power pass through it as it shot a lance of shadows at Josef.

"You would use shadows, on the General of Darkness!?" Josef yelled, twisting his hands. The shadows fell to the ground, sank in slowly, and began circling around towards Kraan. Suddenly, the darkness circled around Kraan, and the flux ball began to shrink, encasing Kraan in a sphere of darkness. "You should know better than that, traitor." Josef said, laughing.

Leona and the old man stopped, looking at the battle ensuing. Leona and the old man knew they could turn the battle in either direction, but choosing who is the correct side is dangerous to say the least. Leona and the old man decided to watch from a hidden spot a safe distance away, or until further notice from the old man.

Slowly, Don began to tread through the forest. It was a hard work, and he hoped that no bandits would attack him, for he had left his staff at his house. Without his staff, he was powerless, but he had an alternative for fighting. He turned, and saw an elderly man, and a women just ahead of him. Walking on, he asked, "Excuse me, but do you know how to get to the end of the fore-..." He said, stopping, and looking at the fight. "Oh dear..." He said, watching the two.

Kraan dropped his old spear, pulled out his ebon kiteshield, and held it to the shadows, absorbing them. "Yes, I do. Seeing as how you won't be "General" of darkness for much longer..." Kraan then dashed towards Josef, feinting with his lance, then attempting to smash his helmet with his shield.

[Dath]

Josef laughed, and ducked to the side, dodging the shield strike. "C'mon Kraan. You've got to do better than that!" He said, taunting him.

[Rennac]

Kraan spoke."I will." He was strangely calm, knowing that one of them would die here... and he wasn't ready just yet. Kraan spun around, attempting to hit his helmet with the butt of his spear, then to impale him on the point. "Ha!"

[Dath]

Josef leaped over Kraan, slashing down with his sword. A blur came from out of the shadows, barely a man, mostly shadow. Skyler. He swung his sword as Josef came landing, and caught him on his left knee, leaving a decent sized slash. Josef turned white after seeing Skyler, and his body turned into darkness, and floated away.

"Skyler? Thought you were dead... No matter. You didn't need to do that. I was driven by revenge... He had nothing." Kraan raised an eyebrow. "Looks like all of us ((Kraan, Leona, Skyler, Cecil)) are on different sides..."

[Dath]

((What do you mean, different sides.))

"I don't care if he killed you or not. It's personal." Skyler said, his eyes glinted venom, and he spoke with malice.

[Rennac]

"Well then... We have the same motives... For now..." Kraan heard more rustling in the forest. "I'd forgotten about them..." Kraan then pointed his spear towards the forest, sending a wide beam of shadows to paralyze anything in there.

Skyler moved faster than he believed he could, his sword was there, blasting the beam of paralysis out of the way.

"Leave them." He spoke quietly.
