[BAZ]

(Second I saw those words about the yellow eyes I thought Morph. It'll be interesting to hear the story about this, but let's get on the move first.)

Watching the fast few abled morphs die Kratos made a run through the flames and came out with only light burn marks. His cape somehow managed to avoid going up in flames and he was glad about that. He went to the horse he had left behind and remounted. He also grabbed his bag off the ground, this time holding it in his right hand. Galloping towards Suoh and Rennac he noticed Kraan's eyes had changed to a gold colour, the same piercing gold that the morphs had. Though Kratos was curious about the Whisper he also heard the approach of reinforcements. "I would ask about the eyes, but this isn't the time." He said. He then turned to Suoh. "The arena you speak of will be the one in Soveria. I know the way there. Come on."

[Holy Kensai]

Victor, seeing his new pirate castle about to be destroyed, decided to follow the strangers, in hopes the morphs would leave it alone and he could return later. Running after them, but also avoiding trees, he kept silent.

Joshua had been fairly useless in the battle, swinging his unstrung bow like a club and riding away from the thickest part of the battle. Now he rode up to his new comrades and rode next to them silently. After a while though, he spoke. "I'm sorry. I wasn't much help." He shrugged. They'd have to wait until he had a full quiver. Then he'd show 'em.

It was then he spotted the Rennac's yellow eyes. "You're a morph." He said bluntly. "What... who are you people? Were you just fighting comrades?"

[Rennac]

((Kraan, not Rennac!!!))

Kraan, responding to Joshua, said " Why do you want to know...? I killed them because they were obstacles. The obstacles must be eliminated for my final goal. Are you... An obstacle?" Kraan swung his lance to the ready position, ready to fight if need be.

[Hughes]

Joshua shrugged, unconsciously fingering the space where an arrow should've been. "That depends on your... objectives. But we fought together, so I'd consider you a comrade as of now." He said casually. "But you do seem a bit different than other morphs... you don't seem as... mindless, I guess is a good word." He raised an eyebrow questioningly. He was no mage, but making a human as perfect as the original seemed too good to be true.

(LOL sorry I forgot!)

[Rennac]

"I was made from the flame of sacrifice. The most powerful of the morphs... are made from the blood of a freshly slain person, mixed with greater than normal amounts of quintessence.. The less powerful of the morphs, like these common soldiers... and even the ones like Josef... are made from only quintessence."

[Hughes]

Joshua nodded, pretending to understand a fraction of what he said about quint-whatever. "You're special then. So tell me, what are these objectives you were talking about?" So it wasn't making new life than. It was converting old life. He thought that's what he had meant by a fresh sacrifice anyways, he couldn't be sure.

[Rennac]

Kraan smirked. "My objective... I'm going to kill the king. And I'm going to kill Josef. I shall kill anyone in my way. It is what I must do. Do not ask why."

[Hughes]

Joshua considered for a moment. "Well... I don't know this Josef fellow, but I know the king well enough, and it's about time he met his maker." He spat on the ground to emphasize that. "I'll follow you. I can't promise I'll help you kill Josef but as for the king...." He shook his head. I'd like to dig his grave..." He said darkly.

[Rennac]

"Ahahah... Yes." Kraan then gave a grim smile, knowing that the time was approaching.



((AAAAAaaaannnnnnddd... Cut! I'm done for the night.))

[Dath]

Josef walked through the carnage of morphs. "Who....," He muttered, his wrath rising. "Who did THIS!?" He roared. One of the lesser powerful morphs, an injured morph raised his head.

"Sir...some men...rebels....they were..." He gasped. Josef knelt down.

"Where are they going?" He whispered dangerously.

"I....I heard them talk about an....an....arena..." The morph said, as Josef unsheathed his blade.

"Thank you." Josef said, placing the tip of his blade on the mans forehead. The man began to whimper. A golden energy laced from the man's forehead, to the blade of Josef's sword, to Josef's forehead. All of a sudden, it was gone. The corpse of the morph disintegrated. Josef raised his hand, and suddenly a golden light glowed from every wounded and non-wounded morph left. Even his personal guards were taken. Suddenly, Josef was alone. Alone, with more power he had ever felt in his entire life. He raised his hand again, and suddenly he had changed appearance. He looked exactly like Skyler, only his eyes were a feral red colored. "Skyler" chuckled and began to walk towards the arena, intent on finishing this.

[Rennac]

"Nngh... What is this...?" Kraan thought to himself as a piercing headache, coupled with flashes of golden light, appeared in his head. "Someone stole... Urgh!" Kraan poked Joshua awake with his foot and asked " There is a power nearby... Somebody stole quintessence from other morphs... Will you come with me?"

[Felover3]

"Are you sure Kraan? Why of all people should I trust you? Why should I care about morphs? Give me one good reason I shouldn't just put a silver arrow right between your damned eyes!" said the voice rang from the trees.

The voice was feminine, vengeful, and angry. From a nearby tree, a head popped out into view. Her hair was blonde, her armor white. Her bow of iradecent ivory sparkled in the falling sun. However, her face was that of pure hatred. She gave a look of mixed anger and regret. Her eyes were green and were now half covered by her hair.

The voice rang from the trees, "What? Don't remember me? Would you like me to help you? I am Le-own-ya. Remember Kraan? Do you remember me now? I would say good to see you and your friends, but that is not the case. I come here...on different terms then before. So I give you a choice. Come with me, or your heads will."

[Rennac]

"Fool... You dare stand in my way? I'll show you the error of your ways!" Kraan drew his lance, his eyes glittering in the moonlight. "Now DIE!" Kraan charged in, knowing that close combat would be advantageous.

[Holy Kensai]

Victor stopped behind the group, hoping that either he could head back to his castle soon, or get paid by these guys to stick around. Seeing what he thought to be the leader charge at some trees, Victor sat down and started cleaning his shields. Making them nice and shiny. Very shiny. Oh so shiny. Yes, shiny. Looking at the group, he wondered how much each had in their pockets, and if they even noticed him.

[Hughes]

Joshua began to move his horse towards kraans attacker, but soon stopped. He'd hardly sworn fealty to the man or anything like that, and he would be no help without arrows. Sullenly he disnounted, pulled out his knife and cut a branch off a tree. He began fletching them into crude arrows, with sharpened points instead of fine arrow heads, and small notches instead of a good chicken feather. They'd be better than nothing at least. He watched Kraan begin to fight as he worked.

[Mankut]

"Wait!" Suoh said. "Let's see what she wants first." He pointed his sword tip towards Leona.

[Rennac]

Kraan, hearing Suoh, paused. "I suppose I was a bit... hasty." He thought. "What do you want from us?" Kraan asked, his lance poised to strike.

[Mankut]

Suoh thought," Is this the same Leona who was traveling with us? But she was captured." Suoh slowly inched to the side, intent on getting behind Leona.

[Hughes]

Joxhua caught the mood quickly, and unhurriedly strung up his bow. He mounted his horse and nocked an arrow. He looked at Leona calmly, hoping she'd understand he'd not shoot unless she drew back.
