SmashedFish:Knows he's fairly irresponsible and tries to fix that problem but never gets around to it. May not realize as much about his surroundings as he likes. Doesn't have a great idea of what the scope of what he wants is(but then not many people do, including me.)
Basically nailed all of this.
Recently learned he's a big Castlevania fan, though unfortunately I don't have any details on why.
Incidentally, a friend let me borrow Circle of the Moon around the second or third grade, and I was hooked. The atmosphere was unlike any game I'd played to that point, and the gameplay also didn't hurt.
Expects others to be a whole lot less sketchy than he should.
his mom probably had to constantly watch him as a kid so that he didn't end up in the hands of some creepy stranger that came from behind a "Beware of pedophiles!" sign at the park
Fun fact, I'm pretty sure I almost got abducted at a mall when I was 4 or 5.
Simultaneously feels like he's some guy that should be around but at the same time doesn't seem like he belongs.
At times, definitely.
Doesn't particularly believe he's capable of anything substantial but goes through life well enough anyway.
This is pretty close. I want to believe that I'm capable of something amazing, so for the time being, I'm just focusing on getting myself there.
I think his family ran a fish business or something.
Not really, though that would presumably mean living closer to the ocean so I'd be fine with that if it was the case.
Mainly looks like Rin (his OC) but subject to change if I bothered to look at other ways he visually expresses himself.
Yeah, pretty blatantly. I should redesign Rin at some point to fix that.
I'll do a few others as they come to mind.
Mercurius: Rather blunt, but his convictions are not to be underestimated. His high standards have paid off in spriting, for one, but he could stand to lower them for his own sake (because that will totally happen).
Oblivion Knight: He's always been capable of greatness, and I'm extremely pleased to say that he's starting to realize it himself.
Arim: Actual picture of Arim. Honestly, how someone can live through what he has and become a person as wonderful as he is is completely beyond me.
Zac: Honestly, I never noticed him much before the forum changed hosts (was he even around back then?), but since then, he's shown himself to be a great guy. We really should play games more, should I remember how to be active on Skype.
Elwood: I've always felt like he's an under-appreciated rock of our community. He's definitely a man of his faith, but he can spam with the best of us as well.
Snow: I feel like Snow's always been a very practical guy. He knows what he's doing with his education and he's diligent enough to make it happen, which is commendable.
Blazer: How to be successful and also a nerd 101: aka Blazer's life in a nutshell. Seriously, between running a pretty old but still active Fire Emblem site, FE Buzz, and all his personal projects, it's actually impressive that he's on the forums and Skype as much as he is, but I'm glad he makes the time for us.
