aaaand in general this is what I mean when I said something like "my friends have terrible internet"

 

for us people that use the internet so much you'd think we'd invest a bit more in actually having decent internet. alas it doesn't work that simply lol. and I fit RIGHT in with the rest of you guys and your internet is terribly slow/constantly resets/etc. problems until I was like "NO" and just threw money at internet companies.

 

for some people that's not even an option because apparently they live in a country with third-world internet

We're actually changing our internet provider soonish, so hopefully it will be better.

the download isn't good but at least it works

 

the real problem is the upload and the ping... the ping is awful

 

if those were about 3x as good (say, 1.2mb/s and a ping of 25-30) you could probably play Smash with minimal lag, though it'd still be a bit eh

ALSO plz don't hate. My internet is fast as fuck, but it has so many random disconnects, so it's not as good as it seems.

Well... I am in a third-world country so it is expected that the internet, is also f****t**d. They promised that they would connect our internet within 1 week but it took 1 month of my mother giving them the ear.

 

NOTE: Only at night that the internet speed goes at a monstrous rate ( for me that is ).

seriously though, that download is freaking massive. top-tier for sure lol, way better than any normal person needs at their home. the upload could use some work though. heck, it'd be nice if it was a little less skewed towards the download speed, if you get what I mean >_>

thaaat really stinks, sorry man. I do hope it gets better. if the speed gets better at night maybe it depends on other people in the general area using it... in which case maybe they need to work on infrastracture... lol
