- The team has a lot of snipers, but no playmakers (well, that's hockey talk. I mean, there's a lot of shooters, but nobody to set up the play). I don't know why I see so many "teammate" and "anticipation" flaws. I'll just stay here...where the ball should be...bye
- The team has the speed of greased lightning going downhill with the wind to its back
- Much like my simulation hockey team, it seems to be all skill, no football IQ

Mine's based off an American football player, taking points in anything that sounded like football and flaws in anything that didn't (the decisions flaw reflecting the choice of playing soccer instead of football), so there's that. Honestly, if he manages to not get deported, I'll consider it a victory.

Transfer laws forced my hand for Fish and Shu. I think those MLS teams were 'closest' by, although it's a weird spread of teams.
Things that happened in July:
Signings:
Kirant took a trial at Braga, before signing at Benfica, who also bought Braga winger Alan. Braga fans are probably writing angry posts on virtual forums. Benfica's Javi Garcia is cursed to a life on the bench in this reality too, and he hasn't even gone to City.
Blazer went to...Gençlerbirli?i. Yes, I had to google it too.
Bobryk has gone to a top team. Arsenal have opted to finally go for someone in midfield who is strong, if a little unpredictable.
Seraph decided to also go for a big side. Chelsea. Under 18s. Is this the end already?
As for me...I turned down Chelsea. For who, you ask? City? Madrid?
No, somewhere even greater.
Kilmarnock.
Games:
Only Shu and Fish played.
Chicago are bottom of their conference. New England are 4th, same conference.
Shu's ranking 7th in pass completion for the league. At 15, it's pretty impressive. Fish has bagged a few.
Other:
Seraph is worth the most, at £4.6m. bblues is worth the least, at £750K. Ironically, Seraph also earns the least, at £55pw. Bobryk is taking home £23k/pw at the other end.
Bayern signed Dejagah. IRL, he plays for Fulham. 2011, folks.
Player descriptions are still fairly similar. Bobryk's explosive, Kirant's position description is 'enthusiastic CB' (ah, youth). Others are 'promising'.
I'll try and post some more pics next time. But it's late, and I'm tired.
A few screenies of transfers and all that.

Given who you were offered, you must like this Kilmarnock.
Also, take that everyone! I had almost no interest initially!

Kirant's first game for Canada went well. In related news, Braga sacked their manager, possibly following the failing to sign Kirant.
Fish took 'em to the PLAYOFFS BABY. Meanwhile, Shu's Chicago are horrible, although having looked at the squad, it's not his fault.
A key player. Conference Finals time!

Year's goal tally. Note how no Chicago player is there.
Meanwhile, in Scotland. Chelsea are desperate.
Turns out I don't want to join Seraph. Apparently Birmingham are 'illustrious'. I've been there. It's not.
I make a good debut impression though.
Other things: Bobryk has been in and around the Arsenal team. Kirant and Bobryk both saw red in their second games. Blazer's team is making a Europa push after spending a good part of 2010 in the relegation zone. Seraph is sitting around in the U18 team with glass ankles.

Don't even know how player rating for a game is calculated, but 8.6 on a piss poor Canadian team sounds good

Ha. Fish carried the entire team on his back. And got within a couple penalty kicks of a championship.

Crs stands for crossing, which is putting the ball into the box from the wing.

The stat line there reads (L-R):
Passes/Completed/Key - Crosses/Completed - Tackles/Won/Key - Headers/Won/Key - Runs/Offsides - Fouls/Fouled - Assists - Shots/On Target - Distance - Condition - Rating - Goals
Ratings tend to be calculated as you'd expect. If you're a DM (which looks to be where you played, squad number be damned), a good shift tends to involve good passing (check), tackling (check), breaking up opponent's play (12 interceptions? Massive check). The assist on one of the goals also brings the rating up, a goal or a second assist tends to bring it to the 9. If you're a striker, it'd be scoring, accurate shooting, making good runs, etc.
Yeah, Fish kept them in it with that 90m goal in the second leg, massive there. New York went on to win in the final though, so there's hope (especially as he's stuck there until 18).

Simmed a bit more yesterday until end of season (for Europe, at least).
MLS started up again.
Breakout game for Shu! Player of the week, baby!
Benfica won the title! Sadly, Kirant was ruled out for much of the second half of the season through injury. I never thought I'd see back to back groin strains.
Seraph started for Chelsea on the last game of the season, needing a win to earn the prestigious Wengerbrand™ 4th place trophy. Did he deliver? Of course.
End of season stats:
Kirant - Those tackling and pass % stats are ridiculous. Most games he played, Benfica won. Here's hoping he stays fit, and eases up on the red cards.
Seraph - Won the youth cup/league. Hopefully plays a bit more.
Blazer - Impressive, until he broke a foot in March and ended his season.
bblues - Apparently the best performer, but Kilmarnock were bottom of the table when transferred, and Birmingham got dragged into a relegation battle from 10th. I don't get this sometimes.
Bobryk - Despite having attacking stats that are the envy of most strikers, he didn't score. Don't ask me why.
I'll post Shu/Fish's next time the MLS ends.
And some transfer window: Seraph becomes a pro. That's it so far.
Predictions for the season ahead:
Seraph actually plays 10 games for Chelsea.
Blazer has a breakout season and moves somewhere else in Europe.
Kirant averages 7 tackles, continues to be around 90% passing accuracy, Benfica make it out the CL group stages.
Bobryk scores 5 goals.
bblues gets transferred again.
Shu and Fish make the playoffs and face off against each other. (PLEASE, AI COACHES.)

You haven't watched hockey. Dominik Hasek at the end of his career seemed to be sidelined by groin strains every other game.
Also, don't ease up on the red cards, virtual me. Kill all the opposition! If they can't play, they can't win!

In other news, apparently Argel ****s was fired by Guarani. I was aware of the name beforehand, but it stands out on your news feed.

Small post:
1: WTF. Some expensive-ass Carp Koi.
2: Generating match reports a bit more now.
3: Because of 2, WE HAVE VIDEOOOOO
Bobryk with his first goal, and it's a beaut. Some lovely passing and a great strike. Very Arsenal. Then they lost 2-1.
(Yes, the game said that was the highest quality when I uploaded it.)

Edit: Found the problem. Lack of match reports in the first season. Should be fine from now on. Weird how they didn't bother with one stat out of all of them.
Edit 2: 2 in 2 games!?
Edit 3: 3 goals, 3 games. Wenger is a tactical mastermind at shifting him to CM.
