Layle looked at Thalisar with clear irritation, "So you're planning on having a small group of pirates take over facilities that would make us high-value targes for them?!" He asked in near anger. "This is suicide, I'm not even welcome on this planet, hence the hidden face and rifle. Not only that, but if anyone sees my rifle on this planet, they'll call the leaders of the Human Empire anyway."

Layle then put his head against the wall, trying to vent frustration.

"I'm fine with this plan. If the Knights are as bad a problem as you suggest and we can simultaneously help the citizens out while getting some leverage on the human government, the risk is probably worth it."

[Lancer]

As Z stalked the streets of downtown Elamaris, trying to get information on the Knights, a figure was mumbling to himself as he walked down the street, oblivious to Z's presence.

"Geez, what the hell could the boss be thinking? Having her lead the operations here? This is stupid, we were doing so well here on our own. I'm sure she's going to go her own way and cause a catastrophic mess on this planet, and then what? I'll be proven right? I'll freaking lose my position as a Captain that I worked 5 years to get. Ah, well if it comes down to it, the Knights aren't too big, and staying with them won't be that profitable. I could just go back to being a bounty hunter..." The figure mumbled to himself. He was tall and had black hair and black eyes. On his waist was a sheathed human sword that looked like a traditional one dating back to at least the 20th century, though obviously it has been modified and refitted to work optimally in modern combat. One could tell a certain adeptness in this individual. "Oh, you there," the man directed at Z, "you look rather sketchy. Listen, it's my job to keep the streets clean and safe for the civilians here. I'm afraid I'm going to need your ID, and for you to hand over all of those weapons that you have. I'm Jimmy, an Enforcer Captain of Balvaris. Failure to meet my demands will be... Less than optimal for you, you see."

Ross was walking the streets with his briefcase full of money when happened upon a weaponry shop. I could use a new pistol. This one's gotten quite a bit of use. Let's see what this joint has to offer. He walked in and took a look at the rack of guns on the wall. One caught his eye. A medium-large pistol, a deep black color with green lighting, and a stiff rubber gripping on the handle. The sight was a mere protrusion of the material with a green glow at the tip. Definitely an elegant weapon.

Elegant weapons are not typically cheap, however. "That's the Elser v4! Just had two of those shipped in from Tyrzen. Very beautiful weapon, yes? Professional grade! Looking to buy?" Ross became aware of the shopkeeper behind him, noticing the gun he was looking at.

"Yeah, actually. How much is it?"

"7,000 credits, please. Steep, I know, but-"

"I'll take it." Ross said. With his winnings from earlier, he had more than enough to pay for a new gun of that caliber.

Z could tell that this captain guy, Jimmy, was not a real threat. Instead of causing some sort of uproar, he ran knowing that Jimmy would pursue. He wanted to engage the captain in a location that... more suitable. Not knowing where The Cotton Candy was, he just began to run the streets, hoping to get there eventually knowing that Ross would be there in a few minutes.

"I need to see your I--" Jimmy paused a moment as the figure began to run "WHY DO THEY ALWAYS RUN!? MOTHER FU--" Jimmy grabbed his blade and began the chase to detain the man. He tried to run as fast as he could as his rank and title may be on the line

Being used to the shadows, Z was able to keep Jimmy at a safe distance, though Jimmy's good eye kept him on Z's tail. As the chase lengthened, Z ran into a dead end; he was faced with a massive wall in his front. He could see Jimmy stopping now, blade tight in his hand. As Jimmy initiated the first attack, Z disappeared, surprising Jimmy. However, this wasn't the first time Jimmy had witnessed a human use cloaking, be it from an electronic device or their own psychic abilities. Jimmy focused his psychic in the general area in low concentrations to form a light electromagnetic field, revealing Z. However, Z was already at the top of the wall now, using the surprise that he had attained to gain distance from Jimmy. He leaped to the other side of the wall and continued running. "That trick worked on him this time, but next time he'll be ready for it. Damn, I didn't expect him to be able to do that. Still, that bought me a good amount of time," Z thought to himself.

"MAKE IT EASY ON YOURSELF!" Jimmy got more furious each few steps he had to go to capture the man

Z continued to run across the roofs, looking down the streets to try to find that café. As he was running, he noticed Ross walking out of a store with a new pistol. He sent a thought to Ross Hey dude, roof to your left, I'm invisible and there's a dude chasing me. Forget the café for now and try to keep up. If we take him 2v1 he shouldn't be a problem. Z unholstered his pistol and continued to run.

"I see now" Jimmy thought, he realized that he was going into a trap, he tried to hit the man and stop him from attacking

"Understood." Ross started running along the road where he saw Z on the rooftops. "Where is this guy? It's way too crowded on this street." it was then that he saw a man with a sword drawn sprinting down the road. "HEY! YOU!" Ross pulled his gladius and his new pistol out and started pursuing the man.

[Lancer]

Fortunately for Jimmy, he noticed Ross' presence beforehand, and the two exchanged blows with their swords. Ross then took a shot with his new high powered pistol, straight towards Jimmy's forehead. Right as the bullet appeared as if it were to enter Jimmy's skull, a flash of steel deterred the shock, although Jimmy was pushed back 3 meters from the power of the shot. Seeing that Ross had already engaged Jimmy, Z turned his direction and joined the fight, sending an EM shockwave at Jimmy and prompting following up his psychic with 3 shots from his pistol. Jimmy managed to avoid most of the shockwave as to dodge a direct impact, but it still affected his movement and slowed him for a critical moment; while two of Z's shots flew past Jimmy, although barely, the third landed right into his left rib, causing him to fall on the ground. He had to struggle to get back up, but even then, it was too much. He stood in front of his adversaries, wounded, but still able to fight. He was outnumbered 2 to 1; both of the fighters were extremely formidable in their own right. An internal debate occurred within Jimmy at this moment; would he continue to try fighting a fight that he had almost no chance to win, or would he back off and risk criticism and credibility at the hands of his superiors?

[Jimmy]

Jimmy grabbed his side in pain with one hand and his blade held slightly towards the new comer. "Who the **** are you? How did you do this much damage to me in this little a time?!" He said with an extremely frustrated tone. "I have rarely seen defeat and when I did I made sure the defeat didn't last!" he swiped towards the new figure but was so damaged that his attack was swiftly dodged. There seemed to be a dark feel coming from Jimmy he struggled to hold back tears and became choked up. Somewhere inside of him he saw his two older brothers hitting him as a boy.

"Looks like he's out of it. Let's bring him back to captain Thalisar." Ross said as he picked up the officer's sword and slung it through his belt. "Help me pick him up, Z. Let's get moving."

[Ristau]

Z helped Ross escort Jimmy back to the ship, not quite sure why they hadn't finished him right then, though.

[Cero]

Lambda had prepared to leave the ship in order to get more information about these knight. Just when he was about to leave Ross and Z had entered the ship carrying Jimmy. "What the hell did you two do?" Lambda said tilting his head. "Actually I don't care, just who is that human you are carrying?"

"We got into a bit of trouble. We're bringing this guy to the captain, we think he's a Knight of the Void." Ross said, as he was dragging the man to the bridge.

[Cero]

"Well, if he is that makes getting information much simpler." Lambda said. "Did you search him yet?"

Wanting to have a little bit of fun, Z dragged Jimmy over toward Layle for him to meet his new 'prisoner'. He set Jimmy down near Layle's rifle, and began to mingle while Jimmy just sat there, injuries still untreated.

Jimmy could feel that he was being dragged and felt scratches and blood on himself as he was being dragged the kidnappers were not discreet, they dragged him on top a rifle of some sort which luckily didn't go off, but it seemed that it was covered in a mixture of blood and saliva
