Hey Arim, you should make a topic in the spriting section for this. It's not like putting sprite progress here is a bad thing, though, it's more of that you might end up getting more helpful replies that way.

Can anyone tell me what's missing from the script? When I tested the animation, no one was there, and it was pretty much frozen.

It's a Bishop animation BTW. And this is what happens...

Did the animation script load fine? No errors? Then you saved it? Then you inserted it using the class animation inserter or whatever? Then you made the necessary Nightmare changes to make sure it loads the right animation using the right weapons etc.?

Also, we don't have your frames. It'd be best if you just put everything into 1 folder, frames, script, etc., and then archived it into a ZIP, RAR, or 7-ZIP, upload it online, and share the link, so we can download it, extract it, look at it, try to fix it/find the error, and try it ourself if need be.

The script loaded fine...And I inserted it into FEditor Adv over the Bishop spot....

See if you guys can find anything... ._. I'm stuck. BTW I'm doing this animation for a friend on Deviantart. (He had problems with his animation, and I offered to try and fix it for him.) I'm not actually gonna use it. Just puttin that out there.

Since I'm stuck with my animation...I decided to work on something else.

I was able to convert a midi file into GBA, so that's cool. Next I just gotta figure out how to put in IN Fire Emblem. XD

That's my fan character, Arim. If you know me on DeviantArt, then you know him! And now, he's in Fire Emblem style! The sprite was made for meh by Ragnarok, and the mugshot is MINE. .w. Try and guess who I used. Go ahead! Guess! 9 people were used.

I think I've got a hold on what I want my hack to be like. At first I just wanted to add on to FE8, being as though I REALLY like the whole "fighting Demons" storyline, but since I wrote up a story for the community hack, and it's not gonna be used, I figured I'll just use it for my hack. XD I mean, I already made some sprites to follow the storyline, and I don't want them to go to waste! So...I'm gonna make a few tweaks to it, as I don't have permission to use all the characters in the script...(I don't have permission to use the characters of the other members in my hack, as they agreed to the collab hack.)

So I came up with a title.

Fire Emblem: The Tower of Demons

(I am literally making this story up as I type it)
Story:

PROLOGUE LEVEL
Main character (me) is inside of my home with my brother and sister. Then an enigmatic man comes inside to tell me that he has something for me from my brother. Then he leaves and a few demons attack.
After I kill the demons, I tell my younger siblings that I'm going out for a bit and tell them not to leave the house unless it is ABSOLUTELY necessary. Then, I make my way to the tower.

CHAPTER 1:

En route to the tower, I encounter a few demons. I fight them off. You know the drill. I stop by a armory on the way to the tower to pick up my sword, Ledus. It ain't that easy though, as the shop owner is getting attacked by demons. I have to protect him from getting killed, and I cannot rescue him, nor can he protect himself. After I kill off the demons, he gives me my sword, and I continue on my way to the tower.

Chapter 2:

I'm almost at the tower. I'm continuing on the path and then I notice someone fighting off a few demons on her own. I decide to help her out, seeing as though it'd be rude to NOT help her. After we kill off the demons, she thanks me for the help, and asks me what I'm doing. I tell her that I'm on my way to the tower, and she asks to go with me. I tell her that it isn't going to be a cakewalk, you know the drill. Then we decide to team up and take the tower together. I ask her why she's covering her face, and she says she wants her identity to stay secret.

CHAPTER 3 - 5

Pretty much us climbing the tower. I run into my younger siblings who tell me they were attacked at home, and the blacksmith told them that I was at the tower. Seeing as though the safest thing at this point would be to stick together, they join up with me.

Chapter 6:

I encounter my rival, Samir. After we kill the demons on this floor, he decides to join us.

Chapter 7: Another encounter with a friend of mine. A.J.
Unlike most others, he joins at the beginning of the level.

Chapter 8: We encounter a strange man who like to jokes around a lot. (Joker type dude.)
We fight him, and then he points out how to open the door to the next floor of the tower.

Chapter 9:

Encounter 1 with my brother. He uses a spell to seal off the fight. I solo fight him, while the rest of the group fights demons. After the fight, he flees higher up the tower.

Chapter 10 ONWARD

Still a work in progress.

This isn't a bad idea, actually. Flesh it out with some details and keep things from being over-cliched and this could turn out quite well!

I know. I literally just made that story up. Ima fix it up a bit. XD But yeah. I think the Tower part is concrete though. Cookie for whoever guesses what the whole "Tower" idea comes from.
