Good news, the team all of a sudden got productive tonight.
We have scripts up to chapter 8 at the moment.
Since we're not a spriting powerhouse, expect great writing (team of three working on it), lots of continuity to be seen in future chapters since we're planning ahead.

Some new screenshots of chapters 5-7x and some tip screens.
We still need to fix some palettes/insert some animations, but we've more or less finished the events.
Balancing is being worked on and the writers have finished quite a bit of the script.
Here we can see more Dath and Jimmy abuse. (the third screenshot is referring to Dath, if you didn't notice).

This looks so incredibly fun and funny the fact that I can't play it right now is the most depressing part of the game. >_>
Like I think I'll like the humor more than the actual gameplay, and will want to beat the chapters just so I can get to the cutscenes. XD

We finally updated all the map sprites for the trooper and pistoleer, but we're still looking for a general graphical overhaul once we find a decent spriter to sprite for us >_>
Our Serenes Forest request topic has only drawn novice to mediocre spriters.

I don't think request topics usually draw good spriters, I think it's more like "good hacks draw in good spriters"... usually... but it's hard to have a good hack without good sprites given how judgmental so many people are about sprites... >____> That's the problem... it's a terrible circle that you have to bust out of for you to have any hope of succeeding. A circle of trying make a hack good enough to get a spriter and trying to get a spriter to make the hack good enough. >_>

Hey, we're still alive and kicking.

We're so confident of our hacking progress, we'd like to share how we've been so successful recently with our efficiency.
