When you lose your best player for 1M quid having bought him for 500k 4 months previous it gets pretty annoying, I mean I know I'm probably crippling the club by being 8000 over the wage budget or so... but still...

What amazes me is you got Jem Karacan playing well, never did anything for me, then just moaned and wanted out of the club haha

Karacan is always one of my better performers, gets the odd goal now and then, but he's consistent. Funny how each person gets a different response.

Also, played a 'b' team against Leicester. Never again, nearly gave up my league cup run there, 5-4 penalty win though.

Lost to Chelsea away 2-1, but hey, Fleck had quite the goal.

One of my 3-4 shots the entire match, they had about 20.

Since that Man Utd win though, things have been slightly bumpy.

Beat Arsenal in the league cup 3-2 (they must hate me). Man City next round, I'm guessing I'll lose that.

Lost to Tottenham, Liverpool, West Ham and Wolves.

Drew with Birmingham, Blackburn (Conceded in the 92nd, that hurt), Sunderland.

Beat Burnley, but they haven't won a game all season.

However, I've had red cards and injuries setting me back.

The Sunderland match though...can't believe it. I'll post a screenshot tomorrow.

Some players are starting to let me down, notably Long, Wood, Fleck. Sometimes Holden. Bit of a worry, I don't want to be dragged too far down into the battle, I'm 9 points above halfway through the season though, so it's promising.

I hate when players suddenly slump in form, you find yourself screaming "YOU USED TO BE GOOD" which is what I'm doing right now at one of my strikers who hasn't scored in 5 months... perhaps stp up from Ligue 2 to Ligue 1 was too much for him

I managed to survive January without all the teams taking away all my best players! The board accepted a 5M offer for my best defender without me realising, but luckily he rejected the contract from Sporting lisbon.

It's been up and down for me as well, we lost 1-0 to Lille in the cup thanks to one of those 30 yard bullshit screamers.

Then we had PSG away in the league, had some injuries so played a midfielder who had made only one sub appearance all season, the guy scored a bloody hat trick on the way to a 1-4 win!

But then we lost again to Nice (1-2) even though we dominated the whole match, bloody set pieces! But again the midfielder who scored the hat trick above, scored again which was great.

I'm certain I've managed to stave off relegation, I'm sitting in 8th with 38 points, 20 off the relegation zone, 23 games played. Won 12 Drew 2 Lost 9

I think I will be keeping Jimmy Roye at the club, my coaches think he's the worst striker at the club, but he just scored his 10th of the season, in only 8 appearances...

Lost another player by the board. Potential 5 stars, but no, Man Utd offered 1.9m.

And then the other player who I didn't care about refused the contract from Wolves.

Oh, a 2-2 draw with Arsenal after going 2-0 down. They must hate me.

And City rape me each chance they get.

Funny thing though, Mourinho is in charge of City, Mancini is in charge of Arsenal, Wenger is in charge of Real. Nice little switching there.

Santos came in with a 10M bid (Thank you 15M release clause) and the board accepted.

It's great though, I already have a replacement on the way, joining in the summer, the 8M net has wiped out our debt, and has allowed me to upgrade the training facilities.

Yeah it's really wierd, Wenger just got sacked by Sevilla in myy game, usually Ferguson retires, Ancelotti goes to Utd and Avram Grant goes to Chelsea again in my games haha

I got offered 3 jobs: Newcastle (relegation battle, lower wage, nobody decent), Villa (Relegation/Lower, Fairly decent squad) and Juventus, who sacked someone very quickly after hiring them in June.

This is all in Febuary/March. I couldn't switch sides in the same league like that during the season, it's be..unsporting. Juventus offered for next season though, so it's time to learn some italian.

Currently 8th-9th in the Prem, all the top team matches have gone, so I'm just playing teams like Notts Forest now. Pretty safe.

Eh..their squad is...huge. And fairly useless. Clearing time. Amauri on a 180k pw wage? Thank god his contract expired. Same with Piero and his 130kpw. Still have Iaquinta on like, 110k pw, Buffon on 175k pw, and Toni on 120k pw. Crap. At least they have Douglas Costa and Chiellini, and a few good mids/defenders.

Shipping people in...Neymar, Van Der Wiel, Huntelaar, Areola, Varane, Milito (Free), Van Der Vaart. That should be good enough. Sold a few pieces of driftwood as well.

Reading signed Shearer as manager. He's sold Insua, and is now playing Marcus Williams there...

Zurab is amazing!!!!... for the championship, he couldn't cut it in the premiership and was quickly replaced by David Wheater. Matt Mills is great though.
