England was disappointing, in my view. So in the end I think it's a pretty just result.

Opposite for Green. If he hadn't slipped up, I'm convinced it would've stayed 1-0.

I'm waiting for Green to be crucified in tomorrows papers, what a mistake. was AMAZED they didn't bring on your only skillful player: Joe Cole, you brought on midget man instead. Gerrard, Johnson and Ashley were the only ones that tried...
Nigeria's keeper kept them in the game, but the rest of the team couldn't score, nobody was in the box to get on the end of crosses, which there were a lot of, yakubu who is a centre forward was crossing into the box, why?
South Korea beat greece easily, because they scored first, if Greece had scored first the whole match would have been 11 players on the line and completely unwatchable

Oh, and we didn't take enough advantage of the two CBs.
And Nigeria had terrible decision making for each player. But still, they showed Argentina had room to improve on defence.
To sum up my reaction to England:

Heskey was good, but SWp in front of Joe Cole was criminal.
^There was a reaction of unison from two england assistants after Heskey missed the one on one. They both bowed at the same time, and when they replayed it my friend just goes: "That's before he shoots when they see it's him who has the ball" haha priceless

And yeah, I'd have preferred the left-sided Joe Cole than the right-sided SWP.

Spain seemed to give up a bit near the end.

Higuain was class today, a hat trick
Forlan was great yesterday, but that other striker with longish black hair was awful, missed a bunch of sitters and was completely selfish
COME ON MEXICO!

Hernandez looks pretty good, looking forward to next season.
But I really liked Dos Santos, he looks a much better player than the first time at Spurs.

He's still a spurs player, lets hope he plays
Higuain was great today, even if they were easy goals, espcially the second

Yeah, Higuain with the hat-trick was pretty good. Argentina seem to be gaining momentum.

Yeah, he was out on loan at Galatasary for the season, definitely helped.
Greece managed to win a match? News to me...

And a lot of teams are going to be exposed in one way or another. Spain, Holland and Argentina all looked a bit weak defensively. England are slow at centre-back.
