So it's feasible, and it'd be easily portable to FE8 as well assuming FE8's memory doesn't differ much.

Xeld is more than likely capable of this stuff. And it's good to know that i was mostly right about the memory being a problem. It just happened to work out that the DS Battle BGs didn't have much of a tile limit.

Then again tile limits seem to be a pain in more areas than one, I recall them being a problem in battle and spell animations as well. D: D: D:

And as for the offsets for FE8... Ryru had them... that "tutorial" package including the chat logs that Ryru and I had have the offsets for FE7...

@soc - There really isn't too much else to do with the template at this point in time, unless you can figure out a way to insert it with the circles at their regular height. I'm going to have to design a new Hit/Dmg/Crit "box" that fits the template nicely without the circles getting smushed. Plus, I can make edits to the towers now and add in the coup de grace that will complete them.

Yes you should share your notes (if you can and don't mind). I'll talk to Xeld and tell you what I come up with when I'm done. If I don't get anywhere someone else can ask.
