Sh*t I misread lol. Nvm then. Right now I'm inside Blackthorn gym. I should do fair enough. My Gyarados' Ice moves and Meganuim's grass moves are making short work of the trainers inside. My electric moves will do 4x dmg on her Gyarados which I'm hoping will make it easy to kill. defeat.

Yes black and white, its different from the other gens.
Sorry Grey. I hate how lance has 3 Dragonite's, oh well i beat him.
The blackthorn gym is weird, like how they changed it. But it was easy, you should have no problem.

Yea I'm not worried about it. I got all the types that Clair's team is weak against.

The Elite four was hard for me, Because some of my Pokemon were weak such as Pupitar.

I am playing for memories and gameplay as well. 
Although so far there is anti-piracy check so playing the game is a pain plus I've been so busy I haven't been able to get very far... interestingly enough a bunch of people at my school still play Pokemon and they're really into it. o_O
It's just surprising because idk, the Nintendo DS seems so childish I figured there wouldn't be many people to play it. Plus Pokemon is pretty childish too so... lol.
IMO the fun in Pokemon comes with raising them so much. I mean if you just cheat or trade pokemon from other games you have that feeling of "I never really legit raised them" and there are no Pokebonds.

Uh, anyway, I chose Cyndaquil as my starter in Soul Silver, but once the official U.S. version came out I decided to go for HeartGold and am now playing that. I chose Totodile for Heart Gold. Unfortunately I don't think I have more than my first badge (D:).

Ah, Gold and Silver. Reminds me of the good old days.
...Old man-sounding things aside, I just beat Brock recently. My team is horribly underleveled. :C
The team's average level is like, 41. Elite Four was a pain.
My team consists of so far:
Feraligatr: Level 45 (I think.)
Ho-Oh: Level 50
Nidoqueen: Level 41ish
Haunter: Level 42 (My buddy doesn't want to trade it back and forth.
)
Red Gyarados: Level 38 (D:)
Grimer: Level 31 (EXP. Share abuse.)

Well after some rng fail (if pokemon uses that behind the scenes) I just barely lost to Clair. We were both on our last pokemon, and hers was almost beat, and she got a ****ing crit and took me out. I'm gonna train some and get a few lvls all round and come back and stomp her ass.

Well Clair is hard, and if you got defeated by her, its gonna be hard for you in elite four. I had the same problem, on last Pokemon, but i killed her before she could kill me. The level you should be in elite four is about 45.

I'm thinking about getting this game for the summer. Is it worth it? It's £40 for HG, and £30 for SS atm.

It's worth it just for the pedometor, after you send the pokemon back to the game it has a little story to go with it

You transport a pokemon to it, you shove it in your pocket, you go to a sexy party, pokemon gains EXP as you walk.
