In my eyes, discrimination is wrong. There's nothing more to it. Discriminating against any particular group for something they can't help is beyond idiotic and goes into the realm of unforgivable.

More on topic I heard the health care bill became law yesterday. People are getting violent already. Destroying property with violent protests and they even played threatening voice mails that ppl are leaving on the phones of congressmen who supported the bill. I think Obama just dug his politcal grave, cuz almost no ones happy right now.

Anyways, the legislation has gone back for a revote after they managed to find something minor that needs changing.

I also remember the topic on FESFIV when it was election time, and I was like, one of (or the only) guy who wanted Obama in. So I'm not surprised at how this topic's turned out.
Let's face it, if you were against him then, you're still against him now, for pretty similar reasons. And of course, the other side will never agree. There's a very small amount of people who will take the middle ground, so eh.

@Dan: Being a bisexual Atheist, I obviously don't believe in God, but if I did I would think that he would love all his children no matter their sexuality. Most LGBT people were born that way, and if God created them, then why would he make them that way? If God hates gay people for being gay then wouldn't that be called discrimination? For it being unnatural, are you just going to ignore the roughly 400 million LGBT people in the world and deny them of basic marriage rights? If you say that they're going to Hell, why do you care? It's their choice.

Yes I am going to reference the Bible, it's only necessary since I am discussing religion.
Leviticus 20:13 states that if 'a man lies with a man as he lies with a woman, he has committed an abomination, he shall surely be put to death'.
Also, God destroyed the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah because of their way of life.
It's viewed as sinful, and many people still hold true to that opinion. There's tolerant people, who don't go around trying to persecute them, and then there's rednecks.

LBGT people aren't much different from straight people, the only difference is that they are attracted to their same( or both) gender/s. If I were the smartest person in the world and saved 3 billion people from being tortured to death. But if I just so happened to be gay, would that make me a bad person and make God hate me? That makes no sense, because doesn't God love all his Children? I'm pretty sure you're referring to the old testament too, I'm 99% sure the new testament says nothing bad about Gays. Even so, the bible can be interpreted in many different ways.

I think Obama is trying his best at getting things done ie election promises. But it's hard to get things done well you are being roadblocked every step of the way. Then people say that he doesn't get anything done and then his reputation goes down the drain by midterm elections and losses his grip on getting anything done.

I really dislike the guy. He promises miracles pretty much and doesn't even seem to try hard enough to make any true. The only so called 'change' we've seen was the health care bill from hell. Forcing people to get health insurance when no one will be able to afford it and if they don't get health insurance, then they punish them heavily even though they can't afford it. Also the government can't 'force' the citizens to do anything unless in times of war or crisis for example during the Civil War or the Draft. Forcing everyone to get health care is denial of our civil liberties granted to us by the Constitution. Also I hate how he denies he's part white at all. Also 99% of the Blacks of America voted for him. Tell you something? They thought he was a savior and only voted for him because he's black and that's really looking like it now. Since they know who he actually is from the health care bill, not a glory trip with magical unicorns and rainbows.
