Eirika's Story vs. Ephraim's Story

The second point you can make is that they're both the main character. Also not true. Eirika has more story in her path, Ephraim is more like a side-quest, or what should have been the main purpose of the Monster Map, or maybe even bonus stages with fixed levels and equipment for the various characters. I dunno.
Ephraim is to Hector what Eirika is to Elliwood. And we all know Elliwood was the main character.

What? What? What? Ephraim's story had little story at all. It was just slapped together like peanut butter and jelly sandwiches at half time. |
They elaborated much more on the Dark Stone in his mode though. I don't think it was mentioned by name at all in Eirika's story.
Ephraim's mode was missing the major Joshua backstory part, though...
I have to vote Ephraim's. The story is pretty cliched anyways, so I mainly like the more challenging gameplay. Eirika's mode did have a better story, but I didn't really like the story anyway except Joshua's background, so yeah.

They didn't elaborate on anything.
You are attacking a fort.
You're on a boat.
You're attacking the castle.
You meet up with Eirika.
There's no story involved.

Yes. Yes they did. Knoll pulls the whole Dark Stone flashback thingy on you and shows how the war started.
Oh, and I could say the same thing for Eirika's story.
-You're fighting mercenaries at a port.
-You're helping Innes and his mercenaries while fighting Pablo and the other mercenaries (who also happened to be part of the same group of mercenaries you fought at the port).
-You're attacked by monsters at this old fort.
-Then you're attacked by monsters again in this really small village.
-Then you go fight ANOTHER group of mercenaries (who aren't related to any of the other mercenaries you fought before at all) hired by Calleach who happened to be part of this group of mercenaries a long time ago.
-Then you fight Grado in some castle.
-Then you meet up with Ephraim in a desert outside of the castle you just fought in.

2)Your point is wrong anyways, as in Eirika's they actually ELABORATE on the story, you actualy get story along the way instead of "This is just a stop on our way to kill a king".
3)Dark Stone Point, that's one little bit of story. I'll give you that.

I still prefer Ephraim's story. He was a much better character than Eirika was. She was all "oo les save leon" and Ephraim was all "crap he's evil gotta kill him".. did I just summarize the plots of FE8? |
Okay, that got a laugh out of me! I'm gonna say Ephraim, just for that! Actually, I stopped caring about the story after I beat it hte first time.. Now I just play it to see how fast I can do it, make challenges (such as only doing cavalier runs, or killing everybody except the lord and 1 character (or character class) (like right now I jsut used Eirika, and killed everyone else except for Joshua, and when I got Ephraim I just used him and Joshua, and now Marisa since i got to her. I decided to do this specific challenge because I was arena abusing, when I lost my Ross because I stopped paying attention during the arena fight for just a minute and found him dead. Ewan JUST WONT DIE IN THE ARENA!). And I like the amount of enemies on Ephraim's route, and Ephraim looks friggin awesome. Plus, he gets lances. Swords are just a fail because.... they are. They're really my favorite weapon, but on FE I prefer axes, because you at least have a good enough chance ot hit, and they do way more than swords. Back to the topic, Ephraim's story is better now since I have no care for the story, but rather I like the way his plays, going all brute force and all.

Eirika's story. Why? Because plot-wise it's more interesting, IMO.
Interesting Happenings in Eirika:
- Innes being surrounded
- development of Carcino
- Jehanna hall going on fire
- Glen dies at Valter's hand, Eirika is blamed, so Cormag comes for revenge
- Has Binks
- Less "OK let's go to war" sort of approach
" " Ephraim:
- Has Gheb
- Duessel's treachery
- Selena's unfortunate death
I didn't include Lyon because he is in both routes.
Feel free to add to this lame list as long as you don't flame me in the process. lol

Eirika's story tells you more about Joshua and his past, and Joshua is my favorite character from fire emblem 8.

I usually go with Eirika's Path for more story, but sometimes go for Ephraims route because Ephraim is a pretty cool character.

Erika's story is all about TRYING to save Lyon.
Ephraim's is more focused on the war aspect of the story.
I personally liked Ephraim's route. Cooler story, main character. Though I do like Erika's story for the background on Joshua.
