Oh, don't get me started with my father, guys. When I turned 18, he literally just walked away from my life. Didn't call me or anyone else in my mom's side of the family (which I dwell in). Didn't come back to visit. He just disappeared. Worse yet, right before the worst of my life happened.
My parents are terrible. :/

We should be grateful we actually have parents. There's plenty of people without any.

Okay, am I the ONLY person here who has a good relationship with BOTH their parents?
My mom is awesome. Pure awesome. She lets me talk it over, she doesn't mind my rambling, so on and so forth. To be honest, I think she and I have been getting along better as I've gotten older (used to get into fights with her all the time... when I was like 3).
My dad isn't at home most of the time 'cuz he works a full-time job, but when he is home I get along with him wonderfully. The fact that we're both complete geeks might have something to do with it (his job is at a company that helps manufacture satellites and such for space exploration projects).
Overall, I'd say the person who causes the most trouble in my family atm is my brother. He refuses to even try to get a job and always secludes himself from everyone else, locking himself in his room and refusing to help anyone out (he's in his 20s and still lives at home, btw). He used to be an entertaining big brother, but... I don't know anymore.

No your not. I get along with my parents perfectly. We still talk almost everyday and even though they are broke they spare no expense when I need a favor. I mean they got me 5 Christmas gifts and mailed them here to me. They support who I am and what I do 100% and are proud. (Mostly cuz most of the ppl in my extended family are failures who still live at home and have amounted to nothing)
