Tier list wise ranger is better because of the extra movement so he won't be left behind and bows help his AS
I won't remove this until I get a killtacular in Halo MLG- Started December 29, 2010.

What Tier lists have you been smoking? Hero > Ranger in all ways, 1 extra movement means nothing when you can get unlimited Boots

I'm pretty sure tier lists don't include boost-ups. Plus bows will make his attack range longer.

So do Hand axes, and as said he has 14-15 con, He loses what? 2 attack speed max from only the really heavy axes
With bows he won't be killing anything on the enemy phase because he can't counter attack.

There are bows far stronger than a hand axe. With Gerik's strength plus a steel bow I think that he can kill a monster.

He can do that with Any sword or axe, and anyway by using a bow it means he kills ONE monster per player phase and 0 per enemy phase. While with a Sword/Axe he can attack back and not be a sitting duck.
What would be the point in using the bow anyway, he can use swords as a Rabger as well.

I just don't find rangers useful in this instance since a simple hand axe is better since it can still counter attack from 1 range unlike bows.

Tier list wise, Hero > Ranger
Axes > Bows by far, especially since he has 15 con.
Less vulnerabilities.
Ranger give what? One movement space? And bows, which are pretty useless for a frontline unit like Gerik.

Yes but we also have swordmasters vanishing and suddenly slashing the enemy a million times, or heroes doing their crit where they toss the shield then jump catch it and rip out their sword/axe and slam it on the enemy.

Those are all epic, but a horse jumping sideways is just silly.
And besides, it's only three slashes in the critical, most likely to signify 3x damage. And a hero is a hero, so he must have a speciality that all heroes have, or they're not a hero.

Hero definitely. Guy jumping ten feet in the air > Horse runs around in a circle as if it were retarded.
Statistically, Gerik is better suited for the Hero class, anyway.
