[Holy Kensai]

((Prehaps, neither Zel nor Skylar have an ultimate weapon. Kraan doesn't either anymore, he used his to promote.. Felover's and my new characters won't. And um... Blazer's character doesn't. lol))

((Technically, Skyler has his own sword, Ocard, which is like a Runesword, but alright...oh, and bye the way, thanks for stabbing me. I appreciate it. xD))

Josef pulled the spear out of his stomach. "Fool...if only for the fact that you are more powerful than one of our common soldiers, I would gut you here and now! Do not defy me again!" He boomed. "The Emperor awaits..." He continued, raising his hand, and Leona raised in the air, levitated, and slowly followed behind him as he walked towards the palace.

[Rennac]

((actually, my two evil weapons turned into one holy gold one.)) Kraan raced back to the place where the battle was, his feet barely touching the ground. As he was running along, he noticed a lone morph, apparently a messenger, running to convey what happened at the battle to... some leader. Needless to say, he didn't get there.



((Kensai. Shut up about me being weak. I'm not freaking Jeigan Sothe.))

[Mankut]

((Actually Kensai, your armor is WAY better than any sword. And you have that lance.))

[Rennac]

((But his armor is friggin evil, and that's where holy weapons come in.))

Crunches were heard in the distance from the village, slowly getting louder as one lone figure approached what was once a battlefield. is head was tilted slightly low as if he was lost in his own thoughts. However upon looking up he stopped. A slight breeze rolled through the ruins of what people once called home. The man looked around, noting the damage that had been done and the amount of dead bodies that layed about. All villagers, common people who don't really know how to fight. He noticed two figures standing in the distance and also caught the reflection off of a weapon one of them was holding. 'Defenders? And yet their's not a single dead bandit...' He thought to himself as his mind pulled out the logical answer. Morphs, the King's army.

Kratos shifted the posistion of the bag he had slung over his shoulder before approaching the two sole people alive in the desolate remains. A quick look just behind him showed that his huge sword was sheathed and within reach should he need it. But for now he would find out what had happened. Kratos only spoke when he was close enough for the noise from his greaves to grab their attention. "I take it you guys just had a run in with the walking dolls from hell?"

[Rennac]

Kraan, using his newfound speed, got to the battlefield quickly. When he got there, he saw a lone figure walking in on his friends. Kraan snuck up to the figure, then dashed behind him and held his knife around his throat. "And why are you here? Who are you, for that matter?"

[BAZ]

"I'd be careful about how close to step towards my bag there, it does hold a couple of axes and blades I grabbed from dead bandits. And I'm sure you don't want one to escape and drop on your foot." Kratos was partly trying to lighten the mood slightly, while also delivering a warning. "As for why am I here, there is no reason. This is a road that connects villages to towns so this one happened to lead me here." His gaunlet hand raised up and moved the tip of the knife slightly away from his throat, all the time he sounded calm. "And I'll provide you my name after you stop believing that I am someone who is a threat to you."

[Rennac]

Kraan, tightening his grip on his dagger, said "Why shouldn't I think you're a threat? And don't try to threaten me. I can't trust anyone these days." Kraan thought, feeling the cold sense of duty " Is that true? Can't I?"

[Holy Kensai]

((Okay. BAZ, Cecil has the most powerful armor and spear because he's now evil, and I'm getting a new character.
Rennac, I call you weak because it is still too earlier in the RP to godmod.

Despite hearing the words his current assailant was saying Kratos still remained calm. He proceeded to explain his case of why he wasn't a threat. "Firstly I assume those two in front of us are your allies right? If I really was a threat to them I would've already unsheathed my massive blade on my back." As he is saying this Kratos nods his head towards the hilt of the Steel Blade. "Secondly, I wouldn't have warned you about the bag if I really was a threat. I would've just dropped it towards your feet. Also if you look to my left hip you'll see my spare sword. If I was an actual threat, I would've dropped the bag, then unsheathed my sword and stabbed back at your hip." He then stopped talking and waiting to see what his unknown attacker would do or say next, all the time keeping his right hand just between the knife and his throat.

[Rennac]

"Ah... That is a good explanation. I'm just sort of... Paranoid, considering most of my friends were captured or turned evil." Kraan sheathed his dagger, but kept his hand on his dagger.

[Mankut]

Suoh spun around, both his swords drawn. "How can you prove your loyalty? For all we know, you could be a soldier from the King! Just saying you are on our side is not enough! For example, where are you from? Why are you here?!"


((Suoh's pretty pissed. But he just saw one of his favorite adults die and his friends dragged away.))

[Rennac]

"Suoh... Relax. He's not a morph. Anyone could tell that by looking at his eyes. And who would serve a madman like the king willingly?"

[BAZ]

Kratos lowered his gaunlet down to his side, turning round to see the man who had held him at knife edge. He was about to respond to his words when another voice challenged his presence. He turned round to see one of the men who he saw from the village outskirts. He was wielding two blades and his voice betrayed rage and anger. Kratos took a deep breath before walking slowly towards the swordsman, again keeping his actions and voice calm. "I know for a fact that anybody working for the King, even Mercenaries, must wear the King's insignia and display it at all times to let the people know that the person wearing it that he is the king's will." He paused for breath and at the same time he stopped walking. The distance between them was the same length as the young man's sword arm and outstretched sword. "And I'm a mercenary so I don't really come from anywhere. I go wherever my feet or my contracts take me. And as I said to your friend back there," he nodded back to the knife wielding assailant, "This road goes through this village, so I was mearly suppose to pass through."

[Rennac]

"Damn... Why do we bother doing this? We pick up random people from the dregs of society, and we try to fight a kingdom with them? If we're going to try that, we should get going. NOW. New guy. Come along if you want." Kraan spun around and started walking away, knowing that sooner or later, he would have to give everyone the truth about himself.



((Bum Bum Bum... Plot twist coming up))

((hmm, I'll bite))

Hearing the knife wielding assassin walk away Kratos looked into the eyes again of Suoh before saying one last thing. "Listen, I'll assist you as much as I can if you'll allow me. However," he pauses, walking backwards, never taking his eyes of Suoh's eyes, "I will defend myself if attacked." With that Kratos turned around, his cape flying round dramatically with him, and started following the Whisper.

[Mankut]

Suoh ran the other way from Kraan, looking for a horse. He soon spotted one in some ruins. He had ridden this horse before so it trotted over to Suoh. He climbed onto the horse and then followed Kraan. He called out," There are probably more horses! Come on!"

[BAZ]

Kratos heard the call from Suoh about more horses. While he isn't one who likes riding on horses, he couldn't refuse as it meant he wouldn't be able to keep up with these new warriors, especially with his bag of weapons. Turning back round he looked about for another steed, finding one within the ruins as well. He dropped the bag and removed his gaunlets. He approached the horse and gently stroked it's neck with his bare hand. The horse didn't recoil from the hand or try to attack him, but gave a noise that told Kratos he was allowed to ride him. Grabbing his bag again he mounted the proud brown steed and moved towards Suoh again, hopefully getting a less hostile response. "Where were you guys heading off to?"

[Rennac]

"Hm? Horse? Whatever." Kraan walked over and made a leisurely jump onto a horse's saddle. "Let's go. I have something to tell you, but it has to wait. When we make camp for the night, I'll tell you."
