Cecil sat down, his muscles hurt. "Too much fighting" he whined.

The morphs were persistant, as these were not regular morphs, these had been crafted with more care. As soon as Leona got up however, the morphs grabbed her again, this time breaking the bow in two.

Five of these morphs attempted to capture Skyler, but in a different way. They pulled there heavy weapons from their sheaths, and brought them down, not on Skyler, but on his sword, in an attempt to destroy it.

((Yeah, well, also figured Sentinel didn't catch on. Didn't mean any offense.))

Zel looked around. He had left the shrine a while ago, and was wandering aimlessly through the remains of Serest. Suddenly, he heard the sounds of fighting. He drew his sword and ran towards the sounds. He saw Leona being dragged off by morphs with Skyler being ganged up on by morphs. "S***..." he cursed. "Which one do I save...?" Skyler should be able to take care of himself for a little bit, Leona's defenseless... He ran over to Leona and brought his sword onto a morph. To his utter surprise, the morph grabbed his sword with its hand, and ripped it from Zel's hands. He was dumbfounded. What the... He was too astonished to notice the morph moving toward him, and took a sharp blow to the stomach. He coughed out blood as he gasped in pain. As he doubled over, the morph kicked him and he sprawled to the ground, stunned. "Urgh...no...Leona!" He attempted to get up, but was pinned to the ground again by the morph. Dammit...this one's way stronger than the others...! What the hell...!

Kraan finished moving the golem's remains, and found what he was looking for, braces of strange dark blue throwing knives. "Knew it. C'mon Cecil, you can grab that- What!?" Kraan heard a muffled cursing and screams, ran out, and saw more morphs. One was kicking Zel, and others had Leona... and Skyler! Kraan pulled out one of his knives, and loosed it toward the morph kicking Zel. The knife seemed to aim itself towards the morph, and it hit, the morph bursting into a cloud of dust.

((It disappeared into dust from throwing a knife at it? Isn't that godmodding?))

Zel blinked as the morph that was pinning him down exploded into a cloud of dust. Deciding not to push his luck, he got up and grabbed his sword, and charged another morph that was trying to move Leona. We're not losing you here, dammit! He engaged the morph to a duel of blades, but the morph held an advantage over him as Zel was tiring. Urgh...it's too strong...but I can't give up yet! Holding nothing back, he started to push the morph backwards. After a particularly ruthless series of strikes, he saw his opening and sank his blade into the morph's throat. Or what should have been its throat. As soon as his blade entered the flesh, the morph dissipated into dust. What...? Are ANY of these real? He shrugged the thought off as another morph charged him. Why are we always outnumbered, with foes tougher than us? This is getting rather annoying...

Cecil began looking through the treasure for anything else that caught his eye.

[Dath]

"Da..damn..." Skyler muttered, as he whipped Ocard around, and slashed. However, these morphs weren't normal, and had some sort of strange armor, that resisted damage. "Damn! Mythril armor..." Skyler said, concealing himself in the shroud of darkness again.

((Well, I was going to have Josef come back, and "eliminate" the darkness/Skyler, but I guess this works too.))

"Urgh... Mythril? Let's see how it stands up to this sacred dagger..." Kraan jumped into the fray and did what would have certainly been a killing blow with any weapon, but the armor gave his dagger enough pause for the dagger to barely stab. But then Kraan pulled out his normal dagger and stabbed the morph in the back of the throat.

The morphs...they just kept coming...when one fell, one more came from the bushes. Leona, still being dragged, but with a free mouth shouted to the others, "Get the hell away! Don't get yourself killed for me! Get your collective fat asses out of here! G-" before a morph grabbed her mouth again.


A morph next to Kraan noticed the dagger her was using. Rather then attack him, he seized for his wrist to snap it and take the dagger, if only to slow it down.

The morphs near Zel and Syler did the same thing. They both used their weapons in an attempt to break their swords, in order to handicap them for...easier transport.

"Aw, hell no! You aren't taking my dagger, not now!" Kraan slammed a kick into the morph's armor, making him release his hold. Kraan jumped away, and then dashed towards the east, yelling "If anyone else escapes, meet me where we originally planned!" ((Skyler's brother's house))

Cecil finally found something he liked, a glowing purple armor set. Putting it on, he found powerful. Super powerful. He grabbed the legendary spear he had found earlier, and climbed outside. Seeing everyone being attacked by morphs, he let out a war cry, and suddenly he was on a light energy horse. He charged forward, and with a few slices he had killed all the morphs, draining their life energy. Feeling even stronger, he looked at his friends and yelled "Must... Be... STRONGER!" and then lunged at them. The horse disappeared, and he fell on his face, and got up. "Um... Guys... What am I doing?" Suddenly, a morph appeared in front of him and said "Do you want everlasting power? Take that girl" and pointed to Leona, "to the King. He shall make you ever stronger and stronger." Cecil, completely overtaken by the armor's power, grabbed Leona, made the horse appear again, killed the morph, and took off.

((Leona is gone, Cecil is evil. I'll make a new character.Seriously, don't try to post and change the outcome, cause this is perfect. The village leader can drag himself out, and dying tell them that they must stop Cecil before he just stalks from village to village killing to gain power. FElover wants Leona gone, so that solves that problem, and now you have a destination, to become stronger and save/kill Cecil. ))

(( Josef turned his head and said aloud, "There's a disturbance in the Force..."))

Josef walked towards the newly turned Cecil. "It feels good, doesn't it? Knowing that you are the ultimate power source...that nobody can defeat you?" He asked.

Cecil looked at Josef, and said "Yes... I like the power. I need more." He then proceeded to stab Josef and suck a lot of power out of him. However, Josef was strong enough to rip the spear out of his gut, and live. "Impressive" Cecil stated. Hearing Leona moan, he asked "Where is -the king-?"

Kraan ran along, not knowing where he would end up. As he got over a large hill, he saw a huge encampment of morphs. "Ah! I'll just stay... around." Kraan set up a small tent in the forest away from the encampment, and proceeded to watch for any troop movements. "Although... I could go back and get more... stuff."


((As I see it, the sacred stuff brings out your fatal flaw, magnified a lot.. A.k.a. Kraan= greed and only fighting for his own purposes , Cecil= Lust for power))

((Yes, it's perfect. Turns out that village was protecting the world from the weapons, not hoarding the weapons. Not really Sacred though, cause they're evil. Or well, could be good, but that'd be kinda hard.))

Kraan, amidst his greed, thought that he could go back and get the other weapons. "I... I can protect them... My friends..." He thought of Leona, Skyler, Cecil, Zel, even the new guy... Suoh. Suddenly the weapons shined. They let out a great light, and when the light faded, they were gone, replaced by a long golden war knife. Kraan felt stronger, faster, and tougher. "What... What happened to me? Eh, no matter, this will help me in our quest."



((In case you don't realize, he overcame his fatal flaw, so the weapons shined and promoted him into Whisper. *Doo Dee Doo*))

Suoh watched as Leona, Kraan, and Cecil all dissapeared. He had been in the shrine all this time, talking to his Leader. The Leader had warned about Kraan and Cecil, saying that they would wreck havoc on nearby towns and villages, showing no mercy. Suoh's Leader had said, " Take this. It contains Subalir, the blade of your father before he died. It is strong and fast, but hard to wield. With that, you now have a blade of both your mother and father. Use it well." His Leader then coughed out some blood and his eyes went blank. Suoh had gone up from the shrine and seen the last moments of the fight. He now ran next to Zel and said,"Come on! We have to save them! I bet we can find a horse or two."


((Well, now we know what happened to Suoh. And since everyone has awesome weapons, Suoh deserves two blades. Also, the sacred weapons should be good, but to prevent overusage of them, they have the ability to increase your fatal flaw, so people would be afraid of the weapons.))
