Someone notified me about that chapter 3 thing, it doesn't actually affect the gameplay but I'll make note to fix it for the next release, thanks.

"Oh, and once more thing."
not that big of a deal but thought I should let you know.
EDIT: Also, the same level the objective is seize the throne, when it is over when you defeat the boss (all enemies?). This is a bigger deal, because there are vendors and armories, thankfully I did all the necessary shopping.
And what the hell is up with Devil axes? I just saw a guy with a 92 critical... thank god he killed himself.

I'll note the typo and the goal, thanks for letting me know.
Actually, what I need is a personal helper for this hack, to write down bugs and typos and crap... I should hire someone... lol.

And congrats on finishing Siegfried's mode. Anakin's mode is even better IMO, so I hope you enjoy.

And for chapter 17x I need to make it so that no units are forced (don't worry, you will be forced to solo the chapter at the least, or use 2 or 3 units).

Because of recent (very, very, minor) surgery and really crappy weather, I needed something to do and I had already played every other FE game to death. Then I happened to find a video of your hack via random youtube searches.
I'm an FE addict, and have enjoyed every single one (only ones I haven't played are Gaiden and Mystery of the Emblem), but I usually don't give too many hacks a shot (dunno why). But I decided to try yours out...and there's really only one way to describe it. FREAKING EPIC. Really. I enjoyed every second of playing it. SO, I'm gonna give you some feedback, and constructive criticism to make it better. (Btw, I did all 15 chapters).
Story: I like it! Starts of simple, then gets complex, but it definitely held my interest.
Music: I like that the map themes changed pretty much every map. However, I would have liked to see (hear?) a replacement to the song of when an enemy attacks you, though. Since you changed the "attack" song (which was epic, btw) I think it would make sense to change the other. Other than Wind Across the Plains (HATE THAT SONG) I really enjoyed the choices. Mila's Divine Protection worked well, and I was pleasantly surprised when I heard Venus Lighthouse XD. Golden Sun win.
Glitches: I didn't encounter too many horrible glitches. First weird one is in chapter 7x. Some of the bandits don't give any experience when killed or attacked...not sure which. Another weird one I noticed came in Chapter 14. Across the river, there are two archers with iron bows stacked on top of each other. It's not that bad, but it killed Itsuke =( lul. Also, you gave Devil Axe's 100 crit rate...I doubt that's intentional, lol. I noticed some typos and whatever, too, but those really aren't important, imo. It's a hack, a couple typos here and there won't hurt anybody.
Difficulty: Not too easy, but not too difficult either. Some chapter's in Sieg's mode were hard, but not impossible. Anakin's mode (in the beginning) would probably be harder if the player didn't raise Kevin in Sieg's mode, though. My Kevin was like level 14 when I got him back, so I had no difficulties >.>. Also, I read a couple pages back that people thought Eric (lul at him being a boss again, btw) was too hard...but he really wasn't. I just lured him in with Nayr so he'd equip his longsword (to give us the weapon triangle advantage). Then I pummeled him with Ace, Kevin, Nayr and Kelik in one turn. It came down to a little luck though, as he had high critical percent, but whatever; negligible, imo.
Characters: You get a lot of characters, and I couldn't raise all of them, but most seemed like they were solid. I tend to not use a lot of characters in FE games anyway (I like smaller groups of really powerful characters) so I didn't even bother with a few of them. A couple are definitely broken (Shuuda, Kelik, etc) but that's not so bad. After all, overpowered characters are fun

However, one of my gripes is that there were no axe users (yet). Minor, but still. I like axes =(
Some of my favorites: Siegfried (personality-wise), Gordon (epic cavalier), Kelik (badass and very strong), Ace (generic soldier...how could I not use him?), Kevin, Nayr (another epic cavalier), Tamiko (epic defense), and Anakin (a bard who can defend himself? WOOT!). There are plenty more characters I liked, but those are a few of my favorites.
And, of course, what review would possibly be complete without some character stats? Unfortunately, I didn't think to do it before Sieg's mode ended, so I don't have those Sieg's mode only character's stats. I only uploaded the characters I actually ended up using. Base-level characters really don't do anything much good.
Note: I didn't do any RNG abusing (takes the fun out of seeing what the characters actually turn out like on their own...) nor did I use any stat boosting items.
And yes...I liked Kelik, ok!?
So, long story short, I played it, enjoyed it, and here's my feedback.

That's awesome dude. I'm so glad you told me about this. Makes me want to hack even more. Seriously, it means a lot to me.

The story is going to get a lot more complex, so if it's just "OK" right now, then I think it'll be "good" or "great" by the end of the game.

Yeah, I can't find a good replacement for Safeguard, the 'defend theme'. WAtP will be replaced in the first two chapters by another song. Well, actually, it's already been replaced, but it's not in the latest patch since I don't update patches very often.

I think I remember what happened with the devil axe. I was testing something, set it really high, and forgot to set it back down. I have to fix that, I guess.
Idk about the archer. First time I heard about such a glitch.
Some units in chapter 7x don't give experience to avoid getting overleveled such that the game gets TOO easy. You still get some experience from the chapter, but not so much that the rest of the game becomes solo-able or something.
As for typos, hopefully I can catch the rest of them before I release the final patch. It'll be difficult but I'll get as many as I can. I usually go through the scripts several times, and then I play the game several times too, and people have reported some typos, so there shouldn't be more than a typo per chapter, really.

Right. I just played FE8 and realized how easy it was. I know FE8 is an easy game though. That being said, my memory of FE games has been refreshed, so hopefully I can think over things a little bit more when planning out units and difficulty. The game'll maintain a level that requires you to think a little bit (as opposed to just sending out some broken unit with hax inventory), but doesn't require massive skill, savestate abusing, or cheating.

A couple are definitely broken (Shuuda, Kelik, etc) but that's not so bad. After all, overpowered characters are fun tongue.gif. Also, HOLY CRAP @ Tamiko's DEF. However, one of my gripes is that there were no axe users (yet). Minor, but still. I like axes =( Some of my favorites: Siegfried (personality-wise), Gordon (epic cavalier), Kelik (badass and very strong), Ace (generic soldier...how could I not use him?), Kevin, Nayr (another epic cavalier), Tamiko (epic defense), and Anakin (a bard who can defend himself? Mhm. I've done some character rebalancing as of late to even things out. Tamiko still has high defense, but not so much that it is unreasonable. Units have slightly better skill (a lot of units had relatively low skill compared to their other stats...). Stuff like that.
The axe user problem is quite a problem. The good thing is there will be 3, maybe 4 primary axe users to be recruited in the game, starting chapter 17, and they will all be pretty good. I might include a 4th into Siegfried's mode such that the player can get an axe user earlier in the game.
As for units, TU actually allows you to field quite a few units. Ultimately you'll only be training about 15 main units total, have 5-8 "back-up units" (who may field the map at certain times), and then have 20 other possible characters you could use, but aren't using. My perspective on the matter is that one should be able to fit in almost every unique class, excluding a couple because there are too many unique classes to fit in every single one. :\
I pretty much agree with all of your character choices, i.e. I like them too. Although Kevin is a little iffy, but that's partly because I have a hard time making use of knights unless there are a ton of swordsman or soldiers (knights are often too slow to kill units in 1 round, and too susceptible to axe-users and all the weapons that are effective against them...).
Response to Character Stats:
Kelik has pretty high strength. Higher than normal. He rocks.

Tamiko is pretty solid, average good self.
Ace is pretty good, maybe a little lacking in strength and a little high with speed.
Nayr is average awesome self (only has 3 level-ups).
Logan is OK (only has 2 level-ups, I think).
Kevin is decent--higher skill than average, I think.
Itsuke is above average.
Cia is pretty good, but her skill is unreasonable low. I've updated the growth some, but still, you just got unlucky in this case.
Anakin is pretty low-leveled, and thus pretty weak.
I am looking forward to your comments after the next release. Thanks for your post, I appreciate it!

I quote support myself plz. My bad for um...not looking at this for like a week >.>.
Also: Yes, I got Lirin and Zach. They won't be getting any use though. Lirin's getting a seat on the bench right next to Innana, and Zach's being thrown into a twenty foot hole armed with only a shovel. No offense to Blazer or anything XD I just hate those classes.
And no, no one died. I'd never let a character die...especially on a version where I can just reload a save state from like 3 minutes before said death >.>
I'm happy to hear about the axe user thing =D. They better not be like Dorcas and Bartre though (HATE BOTH WITH FIERY PASSION).
Looking forward to the next release!
