But, Blazer, why not ask someone to make custom fullbodies? Like MK404, or Rex?

And, trust me, copying takes no skill. It's just tedious.

No, it takes some skill to trace, just not much, you also have to reshade, and he had to do proportions too. It's a ton easier than "custom fullbodies" but still. And the fact that it looks good doesn't change.

Last I checked MK doesn't do sprite requests or male characters. Assuming you're talking about Rexstatic, I didn't even know he could do fullbodies, I've never seen one of his. lol. Idk if he does requests either.

EDIT: Well due to the shoutbox I now know he does. lol.

Silly question but the DS version works for GBA right? I've patched it so far everything is fine but I just wanted to make sure.

Yeah, sorry if that confused you a bit. the battle animations just have the FE11 (AKA FEDS, even though there are now two FE games for the DS) battle backgrounds and battle template. You'll see for yourself. It doesn't make a huge difference.

Why do everyone use Eliwood's skeleton for their fullbodies? >___> I never got why people need to use bases to their fullbodies...and in need of a base, get bases like FEOAs from lords. .-.



And looking good, blazer. You know my opinion on this hack, if there is a hack I can say is the snapshot of our skill levels as hackers, as well as the demonstration of the best management system possible, and while at that the one with the highest chances of being a finished product... That hack belongs to you, dude. So once again, congrats for a really nice...well, epic work, and be glad to be the hand behind the most ambitious FE hack to ever get close to completition.


Looking forward for the finishing of this hack, with honors in our community as great as a brand new chapter of the FE saga. ...we already treat it like that, no?

Heh, that's one of the things that pleases me the most. A whole new Fire Emblem game. I just love the idea, and the fact that it's mine is just like *tingle* awesome.

People base their fullbodies off of OA because it's the easiest thing to do, you know. Although ones that aren't based off of OA are better in many areas (uniqueness, originality, sometimes in customness), in my opinion, I'd rather have a fullbody that is traced/based off of another one as opposed to no fullbody. I appreciate what I get and don't have much of a right to be greedy, heh.

I agree dude, that thought is tempting. It is why I learned hacking to begin with.



And I know, dude. But I mean, why basing it off an OA? You can base it off virtually anything, like I based many of my mug's bodies of screenshots from animes. No need to know how to draw or to use "Unspliced" OAs to make an awesome fullbody. It is not a complaint to the works provided to your project, dude, just a comment I felt I needed to do for the body of us spriters. XP

Oh, yeah, you're right. It doesn't HAVE to be based off of OA, you could base it off of something else (making an original fullbody is beyond most people's capabilities though). Only thing is people automatically think of OAs because they consider them high quality fullbodies. So yeah. I totally understand u though and I appreciate ur input. Perhaps people just need to get some original ideas into their head.

And I know you just barely enough to know that you wouldn't outright say something sucks (maybe in your head you would though LOL XD)

Chapter 16 has been done for a few days but I haven't had time to make a proper update. Well, now I have. This is the first complete chapter since the latest release, V3.1, so I hope it'll be enjoyable for you. Hey Blazer, I found a typo at the beginning of chapter 6. Storm is talking about Althares, and says, "There is a theif near Sark who lends his services after she's payed."

It would have been nicer of you to point out the typos.

"Theif" is spelled Thief, and it should read "...who lends her services after she's paid." Unless it's a guy, in which case it should be vice versa.

"Payed" It also supposed to be spelled as Paid.

Did you not see all the videos for chapter 16? Inanna comes back halfway through the chapter. And, you're supposed to promote her early, as to make the first ten chapters earlier for you, hence the Elysian whip.

I wanted to be 'surprised' but I checked the character list on the TU page and didn't see her again, so I was wondering whether or not I could sell it.

The game isn't done past chapter 15 so the pages on the thing only go up to chapter 15. I'd either sell it or use it in Siegfried's mode.

Also, I think the typo you meant to point out was that it was talking about a 'she' and you thought it was talking about Althares, but it's not talking about Al, it's talking about a female thief. Al is actually a mercenary who takes on the nimble thief role in the group. You never do meet that female thief though, but it works out because you still get a thief in that chapter to open the gate for you.

I want to download this hack( note this is my computer) but my parents have major virusphobia and think that if I download this hack I'll get a virus. I'll convince them some day though. Just a note, after seeing the 7 or so parts of your chapter 16 videos, the story seems to be a bit too emotional for only being at chapter 16.

Really? I don't think so. I think its great how it's going now, and its not like you can have a heavy feel for the rest of the game, it would ebb and flow like it should.
