Cecil looked at the three people in back of the wagon. "Okay, I can't lift it now. :/" He turns to Zel and says "Do we continue with our plans? Or go back to Tresa? I don't really see a point if Captain ain't there, but..."

"Ah... my head. You're all here... Except for Skyler? Let's go. Ditch the wagon." Kraan started walking on the road, seemingly oblivious to just having fallen asleep.

((Let's see...you left off talking to the old man. He later ran off after Zel smashed into his cart, taking Cecil with him. When Zel woke up, Kraan and him (you followed, I guess) ran after him. When they arrived, the old man was gone and Cecil was waking up in the wagon (I think...a bit confusing at that part.) Then Kraan ran back to the village to go check on...things...and found Skyler, nearly dead. Then he took him to a healer, at which point Skyler ran away to a forest and did some stuffs. Now we are all back together except for Skyler, who is somewhere undisclosed at the moment.))

((Skyler got stabbed in the chest by Josef, and escaped. He's in the forest, healing now. Josef is on his way to the Emperor/King.))

Leona, having remained quiet for the longest time, chimed in at this point, "What about Skyler? Does he know where we are going. If we meet another legion...will we just ditch someone else? Shouldn't we find him first?"

Zel shook his head. "No, it was his idea to head to his brother's place originally, so I doubt that he doesn't know where we are headed. If he managed to escape from those soldiers, I'm sure he can still think rationally. And probably doesn't have any sort of mortal injury. He'll be fine. Besides, he said that the legions were after him. As long as he isn't with us, we should be safe, assuming we can trust what he says."

In the branches of a tall oak tree, a fifteen year old boy called Suoh was watching Cecil and his friends. They seemed to be at a loss of what to do. Seeing as he felt that he should not go home to his home town Serest, Suoh jumped out and landed without a sound. Drawing his sword, he approached the travelers, intending to help them.

((I'm glad you want to join in! Although, making a profile WOULD help things, it's not necessary, so welcome ^^))

Zel's eyes narrowed as he heard the sound of a sword being drawn. Slowly, he inched his hand to his sword at his side. As he heard footsteps getting closer, he spun around quickly and ripped his sword out of his sheath, placing the tip dangerously close the the stranger's throat. "Who are you, and what do you want?" he growled.

Suoh jumped back as he saw a stranger point his sword at him. Raising his arms, Suoh replies, " You guys looked like you needed help. As a resident of this area, I know every bush and shrub for ten leagues and I also know where everyone lives around here."

Zel's eyes narrowed. "And how do I know you aren't working with the morphs? What substantiation do you have to prove to me that I won't wake up one morning with a knife in my throat? And another thing, why did you draw your sword if you had peaceful intentions?"

((Just a side note, we have way too many sword users x_x Maybe I should kill off my guy and start a new one...))

" I have no proof. But if you must now, my village was attacked by those....morphs. I only wish to destroy those fiends," Suoh angrily replied.

[Rennac]

"Hey. Don't move." Kraan saw the guy and thought that he looked kind enough. "What are you doing here? Who are you?"

Zel shook his head and looked at him skeptically. "I cannot believe you. If you are sincere, I apologize, but there are far too many malicious people in this world that could offer that same argument." Pointedly, he said, "It would not be very difficult to feign pain ((lol @ rhyme)) and suffering. However, I DO know a way you could prove yourself to me...I have traveled to many places. A few places I came across were filled with rampant destruction and anarchy. Perhaps you village was one of these places. Answer this: What was the name of your village?"

((Just so you know, I'm only playing my character here. Just make up a random name and you'll be good to go, I'm not trying to exclude you :x))

Suoh sighed and repeated himself, sheathing his sword as he talks. He turns to Zel and says, " My village is the lush and green Serest. At least, it was lush and green before they invaded it! My village is right over that hill," Suoh says pointing." Check it out for yourself."

((I made a profile. Also, Suoh is not a random name! It is Japanese for red dragon because I originally intended for him to be Manakete or Laguz. Also, Myrmidons can only wield swords, so I have to be a sword wielder.))

((For the random name part I meant the village, and I wasn't bashing on your choice of character, I was just stating my observation I realize sword users are awesome and most people would choose to be one.))

Zel's gaze softened. "Serest...I was just there. It was quiet a beautiful place, I recall. You say the morphs destroyed it?" He looked off into the distance, at no where in particular. "The morphs that destroyed your village were likely the same ones that just attacked Tresa. You have my condolences." He nodded. "So, would this path lead to a nearby village?"

((Actually, I combined Serene and Forest and got Serest.))

"There may still be morphs around, so I wouldn't go along that path in case you are ambushed."

Zel blinked and looked at Suoh. "Then what do you propose we do?"

((Leona is archer, Kraan/Zel/Suoh/Skylar are swords, Cecil is sword/lance. I think we're fine. Since we're allowed second characters, I may make a knight. ))

Cecil pipes up. "We don't have time for this. Are we going back to Tresa or Captain's Brother's place, if we can find it? New guy, tag along if you want. What's your name? I didn't catch it. Just remember, backstab us, we frontstab you." Cecil waved his sword threateningly.

Zel smirked. "We have no reason to go back to Tresa. If you want to improve your sword skills, you're going to need to find Skyler, and your best bet is his brother's house."

((Well yeah, but we have NO magic users. And NO axe users. Maybe I should make a mage. After all, I do have that generally vague person that Zel is looking for. Hooray for foresight!))
