you missed that in blazer's post(#2282) he didn't say 2282. so fish said it instead. the post number will forever be one ahead of the counting. unless we skip 2283 and move on like this never happened.

the problem was fixed again when Snow said 2283 but then Zac SKIPPED 2284
now listen. you can't use the # of posts in the thread as an exact measure of things because it can be messed up (and it was). what matters is that we count to 10,000, not make 10,000 posts. anyhow, this is what I think happened at #2221:
Oblivion posted 2221
Snow posted the same # (didn't see the above person's post)
Snow edited their post to be one above after seeing the post (to 2222)
Oblivion deleted their post so Snow's post wouldn't be wrong (can't confirm, just a theory)
THUS A NUMBER WAS SKIPPED (2221, because both people who posted it got rid of it)
the # of posts should then be 1 below the number, if a post was deleted. but it wasn't, so people thought it was ok or something. here's the true problem:

Even before that, Oblivion messed up the counting and skipped a hundred #s. bb went along with it and sent to 2300. Oblivion did 2301. Then Snow did 2201. However, effectively, the # should have been 2202, not 2201, because you count +1 and then subtract 100 to fix the mistake Oblivion made. (though really the previous posts should have been fixed. Maybe I'll do it later.)
This resulted in an extra post. After that point, the post # was one above the count #, because of the extra post. then we have the drama I mentioned above and #2221 is skipped, which ends up fixing things so the post # = the count #. so you guys thought it was ok but actually it's not.
SO WHAT'S THE PROBLEM NOW, YOU ASK?
Well you geniuses tried to be smart and somehow ended up skipping 2287. Search for 2287 at the time of this post. Do it. I dare you. Exactly. It's not here. Post 2287 was Arim fixing the fact that Zac skipped 2284. But then Snow screwed up again and posted 2288. It should have been 2287. Alas, Snow apparently can't count. I would be very careful of taking any prescriptions from this future doctor as he may under-dose you or overdose you without realizing it.
So now I am going to say 2287.
THE NEXT FREAKING NUMBER IS 2296. THE COUNT IS ONE LESS THAN THE POST #. THIS IS BECAUSE SNOW EFFECTIVELY REPEATED THE SAME NUMBER ONCE. I WILL FIX IT LATER BUT I'M KEEPING IT NOW AS PROOF THAT THIS ALL REALLY HAPPENED AND I'M NOT JUST CRAZY.
Also, the next person to screw up counting upwards by 1's will be banned. Even if it's me. I will freaking ban myself from the forums. And Snow, stop playing this game while you're drunk dangit.
