I believe in judgment of humans through their judgment of fiction, for nothing else tells better of their disposition freed from apprehension.

lulz niiiiiice
seriously, that's something to brag about XD
@bblues aww...

as for me... it was alright I guess... rather busy and tiring, but I had some nice food at least... though the dinner we got (carryout from a restaurant) has undercooked meat--like, the meat is seriously red, raw--so that kind of bothers me (and I foolishly ate some of it, I'm already starting to regret it).
Also, I was having a decent conversation with my Mom when she managed to make me feel like total crap

then she wonders why I don't like having conversations with her... *sigh* now I'm depressed and I'm supposed to do work like this? urgh, life is so freaking hard sometimes, like it takes so much willpower...

Anyway, I had a long hard week preparing the students for their first test of the semester. It was actually pretty good. Then as I'm driving home, I get rear ended. Hard. My car is totaled. The guy didn't break whatsoever, so I got the full impact of the collision. But it gets better. As I'm getting out of my car (pissed off as **** mind you), he drives away. I'm like, WTF. So yeah. I got a hit and run. I had to talk to the police. Luckily though, a witness saw the guy driving away and chased him. A whole bunch of pedestrians saw as well and got some info on the car for me. The witness that chased him was able to catch the license plate. I'm just thankful that I (surprisingly) was not injured (considering how hard I got hit). I'm also thankful for all the random people that helped me. Things like this just remind me how many good people there are in the world.

But seriously, that sucks Ace, sorry to hear that. And of course what everyone else said as well, at least everyone isn't super heartless... sometimes I do question if they are, though. >_>;
But man, that blows, hope you're able to recover and put it in the past soon...

Haha, stuff like that happens. And I won't get your hopes up, in a way it's best to take things easy and then be surprised if things turn out better than expected right? XD |
Yep, I'm not going to go crazy about it. And if it doesn't work, well, I'll be back to relentlessly hitting on my coworkers. XD
Your car accident really sucks, Batman. I'm happy you're not hurt, and that they'll find the asshole who collided into you.

lol. Get it.
As for me, I am just trying to stay positive about the whole thing. Like I said before, I am thankful that I was not injured. I don't know how I am still perfectly fine, but I am not going to question it. The guy did not even break before he hit me, so I pretty much got the full brunt of the collision. Witnesses said he was going at least 45mph. The whole back of my car got smashed in, and the collision messed up my tires and axel, so I couldn't even move. Unfortunately, his car was still in decent condition and could still drive. I'm bummed because I finally saved up enough money to buy my own car, and then this happens. But hey, a car can be replaced.

but anyway, today I finally moved my study desk along with my desktop computer over to my current house from my mother's house (living with boyfriend and his family) which was a big pain, but I'm happy now because I have not used my desktop for about 4-5 months and I forgot how easy things are to do on it. I bought a new keyboard and mouse to celebrate because my old one was missing quite a few keys ahahehaehaehhaeheah

Ugh, I hate other drivers so much I WISH THE ENTIRE ROAD WAS FOR ME AND ONLY ME. It's because of them that I hate going out and driving places because I trust myself not to cause an accident, but I don't trust others not to be douchebags on the road and ruin things for me. I have done things like reversed into other people's cars before but I've been honest and covered the damage costs out of my own pocket/via insurance because it's just the right thing to do. fdsjklfjdsfjl. |
I completely feel you right here. It's just unfortunate that there are some people who cannot take responsibility for their decisions and actions. He will get caught eventually, and his price will be much higher because of it. I'm almost positive that he either had no insurance, had no driver's license, or stole the car. Otherwise, be a man and take responsibility.
Anyway, it's been two days since my accident. Not gonna lie, when I was driving yesterday (my sister's car), I was super paranoid about the people behind me. I was probably looking in my rear view mirror twice as much as I usually do. It's sucks having that feeling. I was lucky to not have been physically injured, but I've been traumatized by the experience. For now anyway. I'm sure in the next few weeks I will get over it.
In related news, I am required to go to the doctor and get check ups as well as file police and insurance reports. This is definitely not a good time. I have scheduled evaluations from my district supervisor as well as the principal in the next few weeks. I need all the time I can get to prepare. I don't have time to be doing all that stuff.

And man, so much to do... but hey, a forum can be a nice place to vent once in a while. We know you're really busy, but 5 minutes (if that) can't really hurt that much if it means sharing some of your issues. I mean, you have someone to hear you out here, that counts for something, right?
