Zel finally regained consciousness. "Ugh...what...?" He stood up. "Ow..." He looked around. "...Where's Cecil?"

[Rennac]

"The old dude took him in a cart. We have got to go. COME ON." Kraan walked away, motioning for the others to follow him.

[AS Deadly]

"...Old man...card....oh!" Zel muttered. "Alright, let's go!" Zel followed after Kraan.

[Rennac]

((I'm presuming that Leona's following us?))

Kraan saw vague shapes from the town. Knowing they must have been soldiers, Kraan broke into a run. "Zel, Leona, soldiers! Run!"

"..." Zel stayed quiet, and easily kept pace with Kraan.

Skyler continued his duel with Josef, oblivious to how many of the guards were being killed by Zel and Kraan.

"Hoo... Think we'll be able to stop now? I think the soldiers have stopped following us..." Kraan leaned against a tree, momentarily out of breath. " Hey... Is that the old guy's cart?" Kraan, looking a short way off, was a cart, stopped so the owner could rest. Kraan walked over, wondering if Cecil was in there.

Cecil, upon waking up with a sore head, looked around. He appeared to be in the back of a cart. An empty cart with no horses attached, no owner, and no luggage. "Weird" he thought, and sat up. He looked around the cart, and as he neared the back he noticed Kraan, Zel, and Leona advancing. Cecil waved them over, and yelled "I guess you're still alive! Where's the captain?"

Skyler ducked a blow from Josef's blade, and swept his toward's Josef's stomach. Josef ducked to the side, and kicked Skyler right in his ribs. Skyler fell over, slashing out and causing Josef to fall back. He got back up. "That was...a good one," He panted.

[AS Deadly]

Zel ran toward Cecil. As he was running, he saw the rapidly approaching cart, and immediately slowed down about 10 feet away from it. "He's...still in town. There was some...complications," he said, looking towards the village. ((Directed towards Cecil.))

[Dath]

"I've learned a few tricks since we last met," Josef said, slashing forward. He slashed the air, and a dark beam of energy flew out. Skyler jumped over it-right into Josef's sword. Skyler followed Josef's gaze down towards his chest, where he stared with disbelief the sword hilt sticking out of his own chest.

[Holy Kensai]

Cecil nods, not fully understanding. "I'm sorry, my head hurts too much to really grasp anything. Who owns this abandoned wagon? Where are we?"

[AS Deadly]

Zel sighed and closed his eyes. "We are about a league away from Tresa. We didn't get very far before we ran into trouble."

((A league is about 3 miles, fyi.))

Cecil nodded. "Where are we going then? Just follow this road until we get to a town to hide in?"

[AS Deadly]

Zel looked off into the distance. "I suppose we don't have much choice. I assume Skyler never told you where his brother is. But I do recall him pointing at the town gate we left through, so I think it's logical to assume that we just have to follow this path to get there."

[Holy Kensai]

Cecil thinks hard, hurting his head more. "He said twenty miles from Tresa, so not far apparently. It was the next town over or something, I'm not sure. His brother is a blacksmith though."

[Rennac]

"I'm going to double back, head to check... on... things." (aka parents, friends, etc. not knowing but with suspicions about Skyler.) Kraan ran about 100 feet off the road before starting a parallel course to Tresa, wondering about many things.



((*Bum Bum Bum*))

Zel looked blankly after Kraan. "...And there he goes." He looked at Cecil. "We better get moving. It'd be best to make as much progress as possible before nightfall, where we would be liable to bandit attacks."
