The splices seem pretty good, the rest are decent with a few problems and things that can be worked on, shading seems to be a weakness for you (no offense it's a weakness for a lot of people and I'm not that good at it either xD).

A WIP of GBA-style FE10 Tibarn, still have to do his right shoulder. I also still have to get the right colors, and edit the hair and headband also.

^Seems OK for now, still a HUGE work-in-progress so I'll wait before saying too much.

And once I stop being lazy I'll be specific about shading... pretty much it isn't there on the ones that are custom (Johan, for instance...)

I don't mean to hurt your feelings, but, the shading is really little, hardly to be called shading. From what I see you just added a border of the darker color around everything. It's not really shading as there are still big bulges of that one color which make that area bland and it doesn't have any depth to it.

In addition that grey color in the Johan thing doesn't look that good either, it is an outline color and should stay that way. :\



I tuned it up for you, look at it and study it, I'm not amazing at shading or spriting but IMO there is enough of a visible difference. Sorry if I sound really blunt, I just type that way (and IRL I talk that way), don't mind me. I just want to help because I think your sprites are pretty good and I suck myself but I've been spriting long enough that I know how it works (I'm just horrible at applying...)

The red is the light source. But I don't take offense at all.


Took away atleast half of the grey stuff(even though it was there in the original sprite) and added some more shading

Something about the shading on yours bugs me... maybe it's just me. Also, anyone else have a transperanting site? I used up all of my conversions on iava.

^Yes, I'm very wasteful. But I'm afraid that I'll get a virus from one of the ads, and I don't want to take the chance.

Hmm I like your female splices, the first one seems pretty good, Something about the left hand side of the second ones face seems a bit funny but it might just be me, the 6th one's helm looks ugly me thinks, I mean it's just a helm and should be able to be used like that, but it just seems.... wierd?

Shading = Comes after all the rest, I mean in terms of learning, I've been told it's easy once you know the concept of it. (one light source) but I still can't get the hang of it. So I still pillow-shade >_<

^Anti-virus is a last resort, clicking on ads which might infect your computer regardless of your 500 firewalls is reckless and stupid.
