This must be making the rounds on the internet recently...I've had this forwarded to me a couple times and shown up on Facebook at least once:

http://slackhalla.or...ialattitude.php

My results:
QUOTE
Radicalism 85.75
Socialism 18.75
Tenderness 50

QUOTE
These scores indicate that you are a progressive; this is the political profile one might associate with a university professor. It appears that you are skeptical towards religion, and have a pragmatic attitude towards humanity in general.

Your attitudes towards economics appear laissez-faire capitalist, and combined with your social attitudes this creates the picture of someone who would generally be described as libertarian.

To round out the picture you appear to be, political preference aside, a centrist with few strong opinions.

This concludes our analysis; we hope you found your results accurate, useful, and interesting.

The libertarian comment is an oddity, as I have always felt strongly about pumping health care, education, and holding more expansive, progressive prison systems which focus on rehabilitation over punishment...I suspect that it may be because I hold two polarizing views: one of an expansive social system in a few aspects, but also one of a fairly libertarian private industry.

Kind of curious to see where the rest of the forum falls on this.

Not sure what to make of the libertarian bit. I'm not old enough to vote yet so I haven't extensively explored my political ideologies.

These scores indicate that you are a tender-minded moderate progressive; this is the political profile one might associate with an animal rights activist. It appears that you are moderate towards religion, and have a balanced attitude towards humanity in general.

Your attitudes towards economics appear capitalist, and combined with your social attitudes this creates the picture of someone who would generally be described as libertarian.

To round out the picture you appear to be, political preference aside, a devoted egalitarian with several strong opinions.

Huh... I would have mentally rated myself higher on religion and humanity, and I wouldn't say that I have too many strong opinions. I dunno, though. I guess this test was designed for someone who didn't vote in the middle for a lot of the questions. To be honest, I felt that a lot of the questions were on issues that didn't concern me, or were on xenophobia. At least they got egalitarianism right.

I'll be honest, there isn't a party I'd put 100% of my vote for anymore.

Lib Dems never get any votes, and prove to the current leadership are only bothered about getting anywhere in power, even if it's nowhere. Conservatives I just don't agree with most of the time. Current Labour are basically unions/weak leadership. New Labour I liked. Parties like the Greens have some good policies. **** the BNP and UKIP.

Basically, I vote for Labour because I shared the most with them under Brown/Blair. As for locals, well, I'll take a read and see who I agree with more. Next election? I think I'm ****ed.

It's not a soft drug, do your research.

7)  When it comes to abortion I am pro-choice.

Yes. I believe both males and females should have a choice. Not just one gender making the decision for both.

QUOTE
12)  Blood sports, like fox hunting, are cruel and should be forbidden.

Double barreled question. What if I believe they are cruel, but we don't have the right to forbid stuff?

Double barreled also.

The problem is who gets to decide what improve means.

24)  The sight of young men with long hair is unpleasant.

Anyone who answers true to this is an idiot who doesn't understand their own body. Long hair is natural, and the vast majority of the population is attracted to it, known or not. This is due to evolution. Short hair means infertile.

Poor wording forces you to disagree.

Yes. Make random drug tests mandatory for welfare recipients. Then pay teachers what doctors make, and fire all the old ones.

Buzzword barbaric. Very intense, forces you to agree.

QUOTE

44)  Eugenics is tantamount to Nazism, and both ideologies are severely flawed.

Buzzword, double barreled. Also ignorant. The NAZI party did utilize eugenics, and got the policy from the United States.

^ I agree the questions aren't well written, but I actually disagree with some of the conclusions met; a few of the "forced to dis/agree" questions you mention I actually took the opposite stance on. For example, though I'm progressive, I think we should be wary about efforts of improvement. They need to pass scrutiny and much more before being tested in large scale and adopted. As such, there is a need to be wary or else we may adopt a worse solution than what we currently have. First start by pointing out all pros, cons, and work with samples before adopting it as a whole. I also fell in support of the death penalty (though for different reasons than punishment).
