This my dear friend is a custom "CG". It took many long hours and tons of pain-- I had to restore my back-up 10 times or so, had to make it 16 colors, then 15 colors, then add pixels, then fix this, then fix that, not to mention I had to make the image in the first place. Then I had to order the palette, programs were being bitchy and kept on crashing, I had to keep on refinding offsets that I needed, but finally...

I finally got it to work.

Oh yes, I also had to hack the palette, CG, repoint lots of stuff, mess with a new pointer table, and do tons of stuff in hex.

Yeah, not easy shit, not trying to brag, but.

I did it.

You have no idea how good it feels to know that I don't have to suffer anymore.

Who said it's 15 colors or 16 colors? What if I hacked the TSA and made it a 32 color palette?

I'm pretty sure CG stands for cutscene image but I'm not 100% sure. :\

Wow. That's epicly awesome that you got that to work and inserted it. Now we need to figure out the event code that loads CGs...unless you already know it.

I inserted 15 or so CG's and used events to manipulate them into being credits-- the image I showed is the final image in the game.

You can't truly event hack until you think outside of the box

Just kidding, but, events have so many possibilities when you manipulate them like so

lol, I just assumed you inserted the CG at the first possible normal game CG, as I do with many things when testing them. (ie. replacing Lyn's portrait to test a new one, etc. )

lol, no, that's actually part of the game. This means two of my hacks now have CG's. I need to make Tactics Universe game have one too.

Custom CG's in FEDS would be pretty cool too... lol.

I'm just looking around at what people have done already... I was looking at Nintenlord's Event Assembler and it not has support for showing CG pictures (probably thanks to you blazer)

So... where would you find the images using GBA Graphics Editor?

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand because no one else has pointed out, (from what I see), CG I'm pretty sure means Cinematic Graphic or something along those lines.
