As in title, fave class from all the games. And lords shouldn't count.
For me, Heroes. They were just like General/Swordmaster mixes, and always end up great and well-rounded.

I've changed my mind many times on which class is exactly my favorite, but I've come to the conclusion that Social Knight is my favorite class (from FE1 to FE6, they were known as Cavaliers in FE7 and FE8, while they were known as <weapon> Knights in FE9 and FE10).

Paladins: Weapon availability (use Swords, Lances AND Axes!) great movement and high HP, defense, and moderate resistance! Not to mention Str/Spd/Skl gets capped everytime (I'm talking about Kent..)
Swordmasters: Who doesn't like those 1-Hit KO slaying machines? Good movement (especially if you give them boots, then the're a paladin with high critical and no Horse weakness)

Now i changed my mind, my fav class is ballisticians in Shadow Dragon, they just need some boots...

Swordmasters aren't strong imo, compared to other units.

Mages have always been the class of my choice in many games, even outside of Fire Emblem. I think I like the healing class... the clerics/priests/bishops... no idea why. I also like Paladins... they've always caught my eye as unique and interesting.

Paladins have a habit of being cool on just about any game. It's the rightousness. And shiny armour.
