What are your favorite manga?
Mine is One Piece. Without hesitation or any competition I can say it is my favorite and the best. Bleach isn't bad but still not as good as OP. And Naruto is way way down there.

Pretty Face is about some male whom got into an accident, which completely ruined his face. When he was in sugery, the doctors had no clue of what he looked like. They searched into his clothing and he had a picture of a girl he had feelings for. So they used her face and put it on him. The girl whom he likes has a missing twin sister. She believes he is the missing sister and it just gets random from there... The series is about six books long due to early cancelation. Pretty depressing as I thought this would of been grest. The end is a little rushed but it's fairly average.
MegaTokyo is a web-comic-turned-manga. It is about two males whom go to Japan, but realize they have no money to go back to the United States. They have many crazy adventures. Eventually, the two males find two females. Both voice actoresses in the manga. The males fall for the females. And er. Yeah.. Seriously though, it's very random.

BLOOD ALONE, without a doubt. Really great seinen, at times gentle and heart-warming, at others gripping and suspense-heavy.
I also really enjoyed Fairy Cube, Vampire Girl, Alichino , Epitapth and countless once-offs.
I mostly read shoujo/seinen (especially yuri/yaoi).
I really can't stand generic shounen.

Heheh, sounds like a lot of people (generic shounen thing).
I like the variety in your manga selection and how it doesn't seem like everything is fighting-based, I've never read Blood Alone but I've probably read the name on some manga site somewhere like 100's of other manga.

I don't read a lot of manga, but I enjoyed Full Metal Alchemist. DN Angel was interesting... and Matantei Loki: Ragnarok was just... random beyond understanding...

Groove Adventure RAVE by Mashima Hiro stands out as among my favourite out of the manga I've read so far. On the surface, it seems like a cliche storyline of a young warrior collecting magical artifacts in order to defeat an evil organisation, but it manages to add a lot of depth in each story arc, which begin to shape a really complex history of RAVE's universe. But I think RAVE's strong point is it's cast of characters who have rather unique abilities and deep backgrounds, even the antagonists. The ending was one of the strongest I've read so far, although it was a little farfetched regarding characters like Let, Niebel, and Belnika. But overall, RAVE remains my favourite manga.
Other manga that I think stand out:
Fairy Tail - Mashima Hiro's current work. He tends to pull techniques out of his ass more often than in RAVE, but it still remains an entertaining read. A little less story-centric than RAVE, instead having several isolated story arcs so far.
Detroit Metal City - Just plain awesome.
Mahou Sensei Negima - One thing I've always liked about Negima was how well Ken Akamatsu handled his huge cast of characters. Even though most of them are supporting characters, most of them actually feel important to the plot.
Black Cat - Black Cat's artwork stood out most for me. Most of the characters and background always look so clean and refined. Though I'm not finished yet, storywise, I think it paced itself rather well and the characters are quite likable. <3 Eve and Kyoko.
Skyhigh - I haven't read much horror manga, but I really liked the concept of this; it kinda reminds me of Jigoku Shoujo's. Only that unlike Jigoku Shoujo, it's episodic, which I think worked better. Also, it's ending was really gripping and emotional; I still don't know if it was happy or sad. ;_;

YESZ Black Cat is the best. I've read some Negima, I prefer love Hina but...
I haven't read any Fairy Tale, Is it any good?

Now that I think about it, Phoenix and Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind were just... wow. Phoenix was strongest in the earlier volumes, but NVW was amazing.

I haven't read Love Hina yet. :/
Well, I think Fairy Tail (note the 'Tail'
) is pretty good. Though storywise, it seems it just only picked up in the current Oracion Seis arc. The fight scenes early on are not as entertaining as RAVE's too. :[| QUOTE (Racer) |
