Since there was a bit of a problem with my hack before, I decided to just delete it and start over. Hopefully I won't make such an idiotic mistake this time...

So anyway, I'll be posting my updates and everything here! Since I'm too paranoid about using anyone else's stuff due to the other incident, I'm just gonna do all my spriting stuff on my own! So...Yeah...I've got a lot of work to do...XD

My goals are;

[X] Making Custom Battle Animations

[ ] To figure out how to make custom events, instead of just editing events that are already there.

[ ] I want to figure out how to make it so I can change the amount of enemies on the map.

[X] I want to figure out how to make my own classes.

[ ] I want to figure out how to make my own spell animations.

[X] I want to figure out how to make my own weapon icons

[X] I want to figure out how import music into the game.

[ ] I want to be able to make new characters.

[ ] I want to be able to make custom supports. And not just editing text.

[ ] And...I want to figure out...How to make it possible to have extra characters join on each map. Along with how to change which characters can recruit characters, and which characters have battle conversations with certain bosses.

I don't blame ya! I'm a little paranoid myself...But anyway...what I did was...


Open up FEditor Adv and then FE6. From there...

Recolred him. And that's what I did.

On a seperate note. I tried this "splicing" thing. I took two guys from FE6 and spliced em together.

Oh yeah. Credit to Xeld for making FEditor Adv. I used it to get the sprites I used ... Uhhh...Can't really think of anything else at the moment...If there's somethin I need to do, lemme know! I'm goin to bed now. XD

Since I am VERY paranoid...I've decided that I'll not only post what I've done....but HOW I did it! So yeah....Before any questions about my splice arise...Here's my work sheet thing. Hopefully this is enough to prove that I did it.



Hope that clears up any suspicion! On a side note...Here's something else I wanna try out...


A new class I'm gonna call "Duelist"! It's gonna be the promoted form of another class I'm gonna make called "Fencer". I got the idea from the Soul Calibur characters Raphael and Amy. Whatcha think? For the fencer, I was plannin on usin Roy and Eirika.

To be honest, the portraits aren't the best, but they're pretty good for a beginner. I'd recommend picking new colors, though (solid black is to be avoided, especially for hair, very dark faces and light-colored hair looks kind of silly, etc.- just ask if you'd like a more in depth list of things I'd recommend working on). Also, is that a bit of armor on the splice's robe? That sort of thing could work, but you'd need to do a bit more work on it than that. For example, try having the robe be over the armor, or something. That'd be more sensible- one shoulder pad on a robe wouldn't really be useful.

The edited Ross sheet is pretty good so far! I'd love to see how it comes out when it's done (although you won't need to convert the hand axe animations, you will need a magic sword animation). Just remember to only use the colors that were already used.

As for your battle sprite, it's a lot better! There's one things I'd like to point out for now, though- the cape should have some sort of border at the top where it meets his face. Otherwise, it looks fine to me.

This is a lot of stuff to work on (especially for the mug) but don't get discouraged- you just started, after all! Keep working on the things I said, and if you have any questions, just go ahead and post them right in here. I'm usually on at least once a day, and just about everyone else here could also answer them. I'm also glad to see you've taken such a remorseful stance on what you've accidentally done, and that you took my suggestion. Kudos, and happy spriting!

Thanks for the feedback! It's greatly appreciated! My little brother wanted to have blue hair, so I tried that color, but maybe a darker blue would fit better, I guess? And the Robe is supposed to be covering him completely. XD I'm not sure which part you were talking about that looks like armor...It'll probably take me a minute to see it. XD As for the black. It's not actually solid black. Pretty close down there though. XD I'll try to lighten it up a bit to see if it looks better though. I kinda like the way it looks though. I like it looking very dark to help portray the character a bit better. (Saiyans have black hair. And yes. A DBZ reference! XD) And yeah...The battle sprite is still a work in progress that I'm hoping to make look good. (With under 16 colors!) The one in my avatar has the color scheme I plan on working with. I'm actually making an animation with it. Well kinda. Ima see how it turns out. And as for the Ross edit, I was gonna base the Magic Sword attack off of part of the Critical. Dunno how it's gonna look yet. Overall, I think it's lookin decent so far. XD And thanks! You give good advice! Spriting may take forever, but I'm starting to remember why I used to have so much fun doing it in the past! XD A thank you from member number 1516! XD

I'm trying to get an animation to work....But it has an error...

It read up to Mode 3; The Critical...

I have 15 frames for the critical...It read up to 8 before the error...

I also tried importing each of the frames individually...No problems.

So...From what I can tell...the problem is somewhere in the script. The problem I'm having is finding out where...Help would be much appreciated!

And it was bound to happen eventually, right? I don't wanna do anything that might be looked down upon again...I don't even wanna be in suspicion...So I'll do whatever I need to do!

On a side note! I have a question Blazer...Can I put you in my hack? I was gonna make you a swordmaster. As for a Face Sprite....I don't have that worked out yet. XD

I figured it out! The problem was that the image had white in it. Apparently it can't have white. ._. Also, I encountered that, image has too many tiles problem! It's exactly that! It had too many tiles! I figured it out!

I like how this is turning out. Specifically the battle sprites! Those look really good! You're concept of a sword trainee is something I would never have come up with.

Off-topic: Your mug splices are making me think of Organization XIII. Huh, oh well.

Really? I was kinda inspired by their trenchcoat design. Now I just need to figure out how to give myself a keyblade. XD And that isn't really off-topic.

Hahahaha. I guess it isn't since it is related to the mugs. I think one of your characters already has Oblivion as a keyblade!
