[Fire Blazer]

So this is on a whim, I want a video game forum mod. They have to manage the Completed Games List topic constantly (this includes finishing off the 2011 one, then doing the 2012 one) and they have to post in the video game area once in a while (this just means kind of keeping it active so it's not dead by sparking up some random discussion or something if possible) and just mod the place in general (basic mod capabilities).

Since I don't feel like searching for said person (times of inactivity are times of desperation) people can just suggest another person. You can't suggest yourself though (but if you ask someone to suggest you, I'll never know ). You also can't suggest more than 2 people.

Anyway said member should

1) be relatively active

2) not be very new (at least a few hundred posts sounds reasonable I think)

3) be willing

4) have good typing skills

5) be mature

6) understand that they won't be in a high position--you won't have authority in any other place (not even the shoutbox) and you'll mainly be organizing that one area and that's pretty much it

7) play video games and know something about them

8) be organized (so they can organize the forum, derp)

9) not have ego or mood problems

10) be human

With that please go ahead and suggest someone you think can help me out here as the informal "Video Game Section Mod".

Well, Oblivion because he's been around forever, he obviously likes Video Games and it seems like he might be regaining his activity.

Rujio because he's also been around for quite a while (He's a vet, you know) and he's probably one of our more mature members. I actually believe that if he does a nice enough job in that spot he might maybe possibly no promises could climb the ladder a bit.

I mean, what do you think?

I feel like there's some reason why I couldn't make Oblivion a moderator but I don't remember why. It might have to do with him being inactive for like, almost a year, but I seriously cannot remember. It really bothers me that I've made some odd judgment about someone in the past but can't remember the reasoning. >___________> Guess I have to throw away said judgments?

I don't mind Rujio either but he has to be willing. Did you see if he was willing first? Same applies to Oblivion too actually XD

Nah, I didn't. Obviously they can come in here and say they aren't interested if they wish to do so.

And yeah, if you can't remember why you were wary of him then it might not be important or relevant anymore. Besides, it's not that big of a position anyways.

You know, it took me 30 seconds to find a possible thread that would answer parts of this.

Not that I feel there's anything from then that is relevant now.

1. To be honest, I've never had this much free time. It's like summer. I was only taking one class a week and even then it's not that long, only a few hours. I'd have plenty of time to be active. Regardless of if I get modded or not, I'll be sure to come on more.

*ahem* I really do have fond memories during the time I've been here and I've love for them to continue. Hell what am I talking about, I'm not going anywhere.

5. I've certainly grown up over the past few years and I've always been told I've been mature. I've also mellowed out and I'm a lot more relaxed than I once was.

6. Pft all I really care about is being as helpful as possible on a forum I've met so many wonderful friends and people on. I couldn't care enough about ranks.

7. Dude I just like picked up like a game for the first time in years, just like a a month ago. Wait... what's a video game?

Joking aside, I normally spend most of my free time playing video games or watching anime.

I'm not the most organized person on the planet but I've had experience with hosting a forum before and moderating on some in the past so I'm aware of what would need to be done regarding organization. I'm decent with being organized and keeping track of my belonging, so this shouldn't be a problem.

9. I can't really say much about this. I wouldn't say I have a bad ego but I can't really say much. You know what they say, "A problem maker isn't going to stop causing problems if he isn't aware of what he's doing." I like to think I'm a good person without a bad ego.

Odd, but I have a feeling I also knew what it was about. However that was then and this was now and I'm not going to act that way again.

All in all, I'd love to but I'm sure Rujio would also be capable, that is if he was also interested and willing.

I think I'm pretty active, but I could be moreso. This week in particular is pretty busy... adf school until 7:30 every night.

I feel as though I'm a bit of a staple here.

I would be, although I must ask how often "constantly" is. There may be weeks here and there where I can't/don't come on... I'm also not clambering to get this position or anything, though. I'd be glad to be a bigger part of this community, but I wouldn't mind not having that responsibility.

Except for when I refuse to us e the backspace key... excetp it actually is going pretty well right now.

Honestly, I'm not the most organized person. However, managing something on a computer is easier than the mess of papers that make up my school binders.

Sounds like Rujio's a good pick but OK's my #1 for now cuz he sounds like he'll more active and I don't want to put work on Rujio that he might not enjoy or be able to keep up with (though seriously, I really just want that topic updated and basic forum modding... really, REALLY basic modding).

I don't remember what OK did for me to have some sort of weird doubt so I'm going to act like I never had any doubt to start with since it's not fair to judge someone without even remembering the reason XD all I remember is that OK used to be really active and he's a cool guy

that being said I'll still wait to see if anyone else suggests anyone else.

You should probably simply refer to me as Oblivion or my first name Ryan. Seeing "OK" might make someone think of the word "okay" so it could get confusing. I prefer Oblivion or my name over the abbreviation anyway.

I think I fit the requirements, so if no else ends up wanting/actually doing it, I guess I wouldn't mind. There are, however, better candidates than myself, so consider the options before even THINKING of promoting me.

I'm fine with Rujio and Oblivion Knight. For my own reasons. Plus everything I'd say about them has already been said anyhow.
