Hey guys! This is copy-pasted from a Facebook thing I just made, but it's official! I'm ready to start selling these things.

Well, it’s finally here! I don’t have much to say, except just read below to find out about it!

Title: The Dream War: The Royal Seal
Author: Nick Alex (my pen name).
Fan Page: http://www.facebook....9709656?sk=info
The actual event page: http://www.facebook....248283361895422

How to Buy:
Amazon
: http://www.amazon.co...tmm_pap_title_0

Barnes and Noble
: http://www.barnesand...-...e+royal+sea

From me!
You can buy a copy direct from me. It’s cheaper and I can sign it. Plus, it comes with a free bookmark with my face on it. Who wouldn’t want that?
Paperback: $12
Hardcover: $20

EBAY LINKS:
Paperback: http://cgi.ebay.com/...em=260894343368

I've never shipped anything before, so if the shipping doesn't happen within the scheduled time I really apologize...just cut me a little slack in that regard tongue.gif.

It's now available in the Kindle store!

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00688N62M

Just contact me and let me know if you want one from me and we can meet up somewhere. My supplies are limited, however, so if you want one from me...you better ask fast!

I’m currently setting up my eBay account for people who don’t live near me and want a signed copy. It should be up this week. I’ll be accepting PayPal ONLY.

Order it at your local Barnes and Noble/book store. (It’s not on shelves yet.)

You can also buy it in e-book form for Nook. I’m currently getting a Kindle version set up through Amazon, so it *should* be available for Kindle soon enough.

For all you TL;DR people out there: you can stop here if you want. The below is just what the book is about.

Interested? Buy a copy from Amazon/B&N or straight from me. Not interested? Fine. Want to say congratulations and leave? Also fine. Want to just leave and forget I ever dragged you here? That’s fine too!

The Genre/General Facts
-Fantasy/medieval (think: Lord of the Rings without the Old English) with some mystery aspects
-It may be fantasy, but it’s still realistic (everything is/will be explained)
-Short chapters. (Most chapters run between 3-5 pages or so.)
-222 pages
- Easy to follow, easy to read
-No annoying filler or flowery crap
-Most importantly, it’s fun!

About the story itself

-Fast-paced and action packed. There aren’t too many chapters without at least a little bit of action.
-My narrative is limited; characters speak most of what’s going on rather than me writing it.
-Not much "downtime." Even when there's some sort of long dialogue between characters, expect something to be happening elsewhere.
-There's a lot of dialogue, and each of the main characters has a distinctly different dialect (way of speaking).
-Once you get to know the characters you should be able to tell who is speaking before the “he said, she said” tags.
-Speaking of dialogue, it's one of my greater strengths. Expect many meaningful phrases and quotes.
-It's violent. The beginning fight scenes start off tame, but it doesn't stay that way for long. Expect to cringe when you read some of my battle scenes.
-It's emotional. You'll get a strong sense that my characters are real, and their problems will (hopefully) invoke reactions.
-While it’s mainly serious, there’s a bit of humor scattered throughout.
-Each of the 76,000 words I've chosen is necessary. There are no long, drawn-out descriptions of people's hair, the floor, curtains, or other stupid crap that writers feel the need to describe heavily. Simply put, it's blunt and straight forward.
-To sum it up: it's an action-packed thriller that will make you cringe in disgust, tear up from sadness, and laugh your head off.

If that isn’t sufficient, check it out on Google Books: http://books.google.com/books?id=Zl8L5VRPCH8C&pg=PA54&dq=the+dream+war+the+royal+seal&hl=en&ei=xITATvPVDurZ0QHKvZXcBw&sa=X&oi=book_result&ct=result&resnum=1&ved=0CDIQ6AEwAA#v=onepage&q&f=false.

I'll take questions such as "How did you get published?" "who is your publisher?" etc through private message. Thank you guys for reading if you got this far!

Shame I don't have a paypal! Or money, for that matter. Either way, though, I can't wait to read your book.

EBAY LINKS ARE UP

International shipping may be a difficult story...if any of you are international and would like one, try to order it. See if it works. If it doesn't I'll see what I can do.

Read the description on Amazon.

Your time as an FE fan shows.

Wyverns, a continent, monsters, bandits, armies, legendary heroes. tongue.gif

Hahaha. The legendary heroes bit is actually a complete coincidence since this book idea has been in my head for the better part of 5 years (I hadn't played much FE until recently). And my love for LOTR inspired much of this, though my FE fan-ness does show tongue.gif

Oh and btw, it isn't just a continent. I do have a whole world but Dregnal is the only one featured in this book.

Small update: Amazon is a bunch of jerks and upped the price about $7 overnight and now this thing is really expensive. Balls. Well, my price remains the same and so does the Kindle price.

Darn Paypal hating my guts. I'll be marching out to my local book store soon enough to get this though. See if I can snag a nice Hardcover copy.

Awesome. Thanks!

Just be aware it may be expensive at a book store because every reseller on the planet just upped the price...

In other news: My personal stock is now 18 paperbacks and no more hardcovers. (I technically have 5 hardcovers but those have been reserved by others.)

The eBay links reflect this. Hurry and buy them cheaply off me while you still can!

I'll know on Thursday whether I have one extra hardcover, if you can wait that long.

(I can't remember if 4 or 5 people reserved them >.>)

If not the paperbacks are always available!
