OMFG THE BATTLE SCENES LOOK SO FREAKIN EPIC.

Navigable world map like FE2 and Sacred Stones, seems like there are skills. Not sure what the whole "Two people attacking in each battle" is though.

Some of the enemies looks like monster units.

I had my doubts that there was any new fire emblem in development. Boy was I surprised.
I hope it is somewhat a long way in development and not still a year away.

I have a feeling this will get released in the U.S.

A really, really good feeling.

They have too much to lose. They've shown a LOT of promising aspects here.

And I like how this FE game is a mix of everything. It's going to be so new and refreshing and confusing it'll be overwhelmingly epic and just blow my mind up. Which is awesome as far as I'm concerned.

Oh and Shu, I think that conversation we had last night TOTALLY HAD SOMETHING TO DO WITH THIS COMING. Though I had a pretty good feeling a 3DSFE would come sooner than later because it's hard not to take advantage of such an awesome system (am now happy I got one [a 3DS] cuz if this stuff comes out I'm sooooo going to buy this the day it comes out, LITERALLY, which I like, haven't done since i bought Brawl).

just to throw out a guess as to why two characters would attack at once, maybe a new aspect to the support system. instead of getting a boost to stats (or lowering the boosts received) characters that support eachother attack (maybe counter attack as well) in groups

There's been some talk of that at SF, but people feel like they happen too often for that to be the case. Unless that's just because this is an announcement/promo video.

What if they only showed the particular fight scenes where there were two allies, and simply showing a feature of the game and highlighting it.
I hope enemies can also do this. 2v2 Battles would be awesome. Even though, it's not really 2v2, but something similar.

If there's a 3DS hype, I'm certain this will get translated as it'll easily start a Fire Emblem hype assuming it's good.
