Well, I expect they get through the group stages (behind England, of course =p), and after that it depends on the team they go up against and their upset power. It's possible they can make it further, but winning is a long shot for most teams.

I have a feeling the U.S. won't pull an upset. Even though 60 years ago they had an uspet, IIRC. (my soccer/football facts aren't great)
At least South Africa wasn't the first host country to lose the first match. If they did, that'd be one of the saddest things ever. Almost as sad as how the Cavaliers never win anything in sports.I just had to throw in the Cavs part

France and Uruguay both played not to lose, if you ask me. I think that's why both were terrible. I also honestly have no idea what Gourcuff was doing on that field. It's been a while since I've seen somebody play that terrible...
Greece sucked as well. Except in the last 20 or so minutes they finally started playing football a bit. The last 20 minutes were definitely the best to watch.
Also, I think we (The Netherlands) have a pretty strong team. We'll at least be able to make it pretty far. We should at least be able to get to the quarter finals.
The ball... Meh, I haven't seen one decent free kick being taken with it. But that may just be the players, not the ball, haha.

Gourcuff is France's key player this WC, if he plays like he did the rest of the season, France have good times. And he did as good a job as Ribery or Anelka tbqh, and much better than Govou.
And yes, the Dutch team is good. Very strong offensively.
And most of the free kick takers are good, so maybe it's the ball, or it's just been a bad week for free kicks.
