What I want to see? Pretty much a combination of some different Fire Emblem games so far.

For example, I loved Genealogy's Arena and Generation system, and FE10 has a great support system. Thracia has capturing, and Sealed Sword has strong enemies. A combination of those things would make a very interesting game, if you ask me.

New characters, a new world, and possibly a less FE themed Story. All FE stories are...exactly the same, with few exceptions. A new story would be nice.

Why not a crossover game? Lords+Jeigans+Villains+Friends. That'd be sick, imagine a game with 4 people from each game? I wonder how allegiances would change.

I want a "whole new world", to say the least. No more remakes or sequels or prequels or anything, not for the next one at least.

I also want a new interesting story from a different perspective, also I want more badass-ness in the game, maybe something like one of my ideas for a custom hack

Hm. Actually, instead of another game, I'd like them to realize a basic FE making engine. That could be fun to screw around with, and they wouldn't have to give us a lot of the features, just the basic ones. Character Making, Map Making, Event Making, bam.

Different games, different armies, and different perspectives thus making a very long game. Kinda like radiant dawn.

In Fe 2, also known as Fire Emblem Gaiden, you had two groups. And you could switch between them and sometimes you had to do stuff with one team before you could stuff with the other.

So. Have like, a new FE with three teams. One oif the teams will have your "customized" characters which just have customized growths.

Right, and so you can switch between the three after a certain point, and depending on which levels you go on which team, different people join each team, and different storylines. And you could have the teams meet up every now and then and switch team members.

And then you could have parts where you couldn't continue without using another team first, and the number of teams you use depends on what paths you take.

The replay value would be through the roof, and it would take months to 100% it. And then add more for hard mode.

exactly, majority of the FE games I play always end in a week. (just beating the game not 100% it)

LOL FESD finished it in two days...

Imagine that, some sort of super boss at the end at Hard Mode.

it would take a while but i would think they should make TWO new games

one is a REMAKE of FE4 and 5 combined, where, once you end generation one the fe5 plot takes over and then after that it switches on to generation 2 of FE4.

a new game with interesting feature mixes:
more variaties of laguz (like bears)
monsters
navigable map that unlocks special places after you BEAT the game
capturin
great support
love
multiple sides (with a choice of which to start with like in FE7 only without jsut starting form chapter 11 or 1 on 3 sides, but rather from chapter one)
summons
new classes
new difficutlies (such as if hard is too easy then make a chaos mode, if easy is too hard[WTF DONT PLAY FE THEN, lolz] then make a "very easy" choice
customizable lord growths and stats and colors
cheat system (not online)
wifi
on wii, and DS
better bonus xp system
SOME multiple part chapters
more variety of chapter styles
nameable and customizable colors


the second was a lot of random NEW ideas i thought of and some already used in previous games.

Eh. I don't like a lot of the ideas. Just don't sound very FEish to me.

They should change the graphics back though.

I have always imagined some kind of FE cross over game and in a interview from some guy and IS said that he would be interested in making something like that cause Ike + Hector + sigurd/Celice(i dont remember how to spell it ) = ULTIMATE PWNGAE but thats the problem if they made a cross over game there would be too many characters too many character that if they die its gameover and it would be too easy unless they nerfed all the good lords which would blow...

VOICE ACTING THAT ISN'T MADE OF FAIL(Mist in FE9 = FAIL)
all cutscenes being cgi with voice
and for aether's sake a better PLOT if IS even knows what a plot is...

Ike is fail, so the cross-over would suck.

Also, Voice acting is horrible in every game, they just shouldn't have it. My head does better voices.

The online thing I kinda rambled on a lot before, in a post on this site.

The problems with map building tools and whatnot is that 1Their sales would go down. 2)Every site like FES would get flooded with n00bs who have maps that are "OMG SAH AWSUM"

A Mage lord or else just more chapters.... The games need to be longer like 40-50 chapters minimum

I somewhat disagree. Making it so long makes of boring and tedious. The game should be around 25-35 chapters not including gaidens. The inclusion of special gaidens, super acret characters/items, many alternate endings, etc. are what IMO need to be in the next game. The plot needs to have a lot of depth but without overdoing it, making it have too much text, etc.. FE8 hardly had gaidens. FE9 and 10... I haven't played FE9 in so long I can't say and FE10 I can't say either. FEDS had chump gaidens, you have to kill units...

Lastly I want to see a completely new game/cast, or at LEAST make a sequel with characters only serving as sources of nostalgia (which is win).

I either want an entirely new world, or a sequel/prequel to FE8. You heard me, another game on Magvel. If Nintendo does the game well enough, they may be able to salvage the story in Magvel after all.

Hm. New question, how about graphics? SNES style, GBA style, DS Style, or Gamecube/Wii style?

Personally, I'd say either SNES style or GBA style. 2d rules, and it's what I've seen AND liked.
