What is so great about alcohol?
I accidentaly had a sip of wine because I thought it was water. It was the most DISGUSTING drink I've ever tasted! Yet people say it makes them feel good. Shouldn't it make them feel worse?

a: Wine looks like water?
b: Taste varies from person to person. I'm not a great fan of beer, but I more than happily drink spirits of any variety.
c: 'Makes them feel good' = Being drunk, but not so much that you end up throwing up everywhere.

Some white wines (namely, french white wines) can be mistaken for water in most lighting.

Same here. I don't care for alcohol. Ppl say its an "aquired" taste, meaning you have to get used to it before you like it, meaning you have to drink it til you think it tastes good, which is dumb to me. Then agian I guess some ppl like it cuz they can't wait to drink it on the weekends.

I just don't like being drunk. I get sick and dizzy long before I get any sort of buzz, so I'm already puking by the time I would otherwise be enjoying it.

Alcohol I won't say much but it does taste bad. Acquired taste? Maybe. I like it but I don't drink to the point of stupidity. If you do drink just drink and enjoy the flavor. That's how I get by with my jack & coke heh.

Wine tastes horrible fresh. Aged Wine is the good wine.
Beer it depends on region. In the States, it's watered down so I don't know. In Canada it's real beer so it tastes good (depending on brand) but leaves a bad after taste. In Germany I don't know what they did but it tastes good with no after taste. There's other places too, but those are the only ones I've tried.
The stronger ones, rum, vodka, so forth, are usually mixed with better tasting drinks simply because of the strength.
I don't think alcohol is an acquired taste. It's moreso there's an alcohol for everyone, you just have to find yours.
I do not endorse drinking, I don't drink much at all. Just saying.

Cause he contributed a bunch of stuff to like, FE4 or something? Idk.
But anyways, I know I'm not old enough to drink, but I only have once. I had some uhh, Smirnoff Ice stuff. It was delicious. And then I was all loopy and couldn't stop laughing at everything. Then mom gave my sister a "special" rice krispie treat and she started tripping. This all happened on the 4th of July.
As for beer.. I drank it on accident when I was like 3, it was in an AM/PM cup or whatever so I couldn't see what was inside, I thought it was soda. Tasted terrrrible.
I don't think it's really an acquired taste, although I wouldn't know, I think people just get used to it the more they drink it. Not necessarily think it tastes better? Well, adults drink it to get drunk, not for the taste, at least that's what MY mom drinks it for. Who the heck would drink that stuff for the taste?
I type a lot when I'm tired.. But yeah. There's my two cents.

@Kine, Some people do drink alcohol for the taste. And I find most people after it becomes legal for them do it less to get drunk, moreso just for a buzz.
