Who would it be? Mine are:
FE7: Karel. I wouldn't be a threat to him, so he wouldn't kill me, but I'd have him train me just so we could have a badass duel.
FE8: Ephraim. He seems really down to earth, yet determined. I'd be able to get along with him.
FE9: Ike. Dunno why, nobody else is standing out.
FE10: Renning! He seems like a cool guy.

I will only do FE6 to FE10 because I have played all those except 9 but I know some stuff about it.
FE6 : Lilina <------ Magic and young girl and I am young too
FE7 : Lyn <----- Awesome sword style and of course girl
FE8 : Ephraim or Amelia <--- I like Ephraims spear style and he is just cool. Amelia is awesome as a general and then sword (love the big swords and swords overall XD)
FE9 : Ike <-------- Sword style again, just love it
FE10 : Mist <----- girl and a little magic when promotes if I am right (forgot)
