1: Matthew (Omg, I am SO pwnage!)
2: Lyn (Just love her!)
3: Gay I mean Guy (Swordmasters FTW, you might notice I like swords from this list :])
4: Hector (Just cause he is strong and all)
5: Erk/Lucius (Magic helps magically, bad pun :])
FE6:
1: Dieck (Merc at first, then Hero, Sword and Axe ftw, also just pwnage)
2: Rutger (Swordmaster "Nuff said!)
3: Shin (I never use Nomads but he just pwns)
4: Thany (Same as Shin, I never use Peg knights either but Thany is pretty good)
5: Fa (Cute and a dragon, cool huh?) and Roy a bit... ONLY WITH SWORD OF SEALS, else he sucks.

I like Kent from FE7. Whenever I have him when I'm playing he's always one of the best characters. Is it just me, or is Kent a simple hair color change from Alan? I mean the battle sprite.

That's because every FE game has to have two Cavaliers with green and red armor. Kent and Sain, Allen and Lance, Kieran and Oscar, Cain and Abel.
Yeah FE has a way of recycling the Green and Red armored cavalier team.
I dunno about FE2-FE5 though.

My top five are
1: Lyndis (omnom) She was my best unit
2: Sain His stats were awesome and he had a nice personality
3: Hector I thought he was good for defense and his great lord sprite looked so powerful
4: Roy Was horrible at the start, but became quickly good towards the end
5: Guy Best swordmaster in the entire series, imo

They're in different games.
Guy is in FE7 and Rutger is in FE6. Unless you were comparing the two on a more FE general stage. FE6 and FE7 do have similar stats though.
Rutger would be better though. He's godly in FE6 hard mode, and Guy is average.
