Burning Shrine

A fanfic of….FES?!??!?

That’s right. A story of mine placing everyone here in a world that has little to do with Fire Emblem, and makes us all sound much better than we really are. We all get skills that we don’t REALLY have, but bear with me. It’s supposed to be comedy-ish. Message me little bits I can throw in there if I mention I’m in a slump.


Let me describe this to you. FES is now an island with many huts for each member, with certain areas for certain discussions and such. Ran much like a forum is. The staff are like…cops/secret agents. That’s not to say that regular members won’t be important or anything, but…

Moving on, I won’t use numbers or longer names for us. Fire Blazer will be Blazer, Felover3 will be Felover, etc. All communities for everything are islands. Youtube is an island full of movie theaters and aspiring directors/actors (It’s comedy for god’s sake!). But that dosen’t mean Youtube is going to be in the story. It probably won’t.

FES IV is basically an island that had every structure burnt down.

Also, only staff will use weapons to fight off the enemy. Sorry, but I can’t have every member on FES be a death machine.


Also, DO NOT send me messages asking me to work you in. You will be ignored. Only members who have been around a lot/are currently active will have bigger parts. DO message me how far I am able to take your character/how you would act, assuming you want to be in the story in the first place. Tell me things like what kind of language you casually use. (You know what I mean.)

Burning Shrine – Prologue – Mission?




Shu sat by the side of his cabin, painting a design on the wall. His hobby, and partial reason why he’s staff on Fire Emblem Shrine Island. He painted with precision, trying to make everything blend. Him doing this was the reason his cabin was the flashiest. Yeah. Flashiest. If you could call it a cabin, that is. It had a short tower jutting out the top, making it resemble a lighthouse.

He made a few more strokes and glanced down at Hector Plaza, the most populated area of the, albeit small, Island. That’s where the Staff HQ was. Shu’s cabin was on a cliff, somewhat, looking out over Newpos Ocean. The ocean that every community was on, and covered most of the planet.

Suddenly, Shu’s back pocket started to ring.

“Damn” he muttered as he dug out his phone.



“Hello?” he said.

“Shu, come to the HQ” said Blazer's familiar voice.

“Ha ha, rhyme…”

“I have a mission for you…”

Short, but intense. Can't wait for the next one.

Short, nice opening, leads into the next chapter, and yet I was kind of hoping or a more casual opening, if you know what I mean-- don't get right into the action or it won't be epic.

I don't intend on it XD. The feeling of the story is basically "Yeah, we're fighting, but I'm still gonna crack jokes about the screwed up guy who belongs in an asylum that we have to beat the living Sh*t out of."

Burning Shrine – Chapter 1 – Meeting


Shu walked through the forest path leading down to Hector Square in silence, curious as to what the mission Blazer had for him was. The only sounds were the occasional snapping of twigs, rustling leaves and Shu telling a passing squirrel to shut up.

As he neared the square, the sounds of conversation and various other things got louder. When Shu finally got there, he glanced around. He saw Seraphinox and Badkiara sitting on a couch on a porch of one of the cabins. Discussing something, most likely Fire Emblem. Of course. He walked some more towards the center, and took a look at the statue in the middle. It was a shining gold statue of Hector standing above yet another victim to his Wolf Beil. Shu looked at the plaque by the foot of the statue. It read –

“This statue was built to represent and honor the incredible Uber-ness of Hector. Yeah. Don’t screw with it, okay? I don’t need any vandalism on this island.

- Leader of FES, Blazer”


Shu smirked at text. “Suppose I better get going” he said, turning around, heading towards the Staff HQ.

He walked up the steps and opened the door. The HQ isn’t too glamorous, one room. There’s a large rectangular table in the middle, and a single door leading to Blazer’s cabin, which is connected to the HQ. But Blazer wasn’t there. “Guess I should wait…” mumbled Shu as he pulled up a chair. He glanced around the room. There were swords on the wooden walls, posters of various Fire Emblem characters plastered about. Right behind where Blazer’s usual spot was, is the Ban Hammer. A large, completely red Sledge hammer. Those who deserve it are beaten senseless with it, and then sent on a boat to Forcatraz, prison for all who are banned from ALL the communities. Huge place.

“Borrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrred.”

Shu twiddled his thumbs. After a few minutes of sitting there bored, Felover and Seraphinox came in through the door and they both took seats by the table.

“Know why we’re here?” Seraphinox said, sitting down.

“Nope. I just got a call from Blazer saying he had a mission for me.”

“I got the same.”

“Me too” said Felover.

“I want to go back to playing Radiant Dawn…” said Seraphinox.

“Too bad” Said a voice from behind the door. Tino walked in and took a seat next to Blazer’s spot. “It’s not that great a game anyways.”

“Yeah, well…” drawled Seraphinox.

“You know why we’re here? And where’s Soren?” Felover asked.

“You’ll find out”

Blazer walked through the door, tinkering with an open Gameboy cartridge. He set it down on the table and took a seat.

“Let’s get started” He said.

I know this chapter is still short, but I need time to think of a few things regarding what will happen next.

I guess my cabin is somewhere else? Or too awesome that it shouldn't be near the other cabins?

Anyway, I'm loving it so far. Keep 'em coming. (Of course there are some mistakes in the writing, such as spelling errors, omitting commas where necessary, but who cares?)

I try to filter out most errors, but I guess I missed a few.

Yeah, Tino, your cabin is somewhere else, along with some other members. I hope you don't feel like I neglected you, or something. XD
