2 Questions
1: I have successfully imported my own map (almost) when ever it loads I see the map perfectly but it just gets stuck there staring at the screen. anyone know how to fix this
2: I stumbled across a Halberdier that Blazer and someone else made. I was wondering if I could acquire permission to use it until I create my own (during the duration of my using it full credit will go to Blazer and the other guy. I don't know his name though so you would have to tell me)

I believe that's blind archer's halberdier. You'll need to get his permission. I think he's on serenes forest, not sure myself.

aww that sucks

Well I am still hunting for thy Blind Archer.
(Also If anyone knows what I may of done wrong as far as importing my map goes. I followed the Ultimate Tutorial. The chapter loads I can see my map but then it just sits there any ideas?)

Hey guys so I have been reading around and saw that you can "add" map sprites instead of just replacing. So I was wondering is there a way to do that with animations instead of being forced to replace an existing one. I looked around and didn't see anything. It seems possible I'm assuming through a hex editor just looking to see if someone can point me in the direction of a tutorial.

yea, you can put in more animations. Just go into FEditor Advance and go into the class animation manager. Then increase the max index by however many you want to put in. Then you go to the spot(s) you just added and insert the animation(s). After they're in place, you can go into the nightmare custom battle animations mod and see what format to put it in. Then you go to the same offset (the 888FF0 or whatever number you had in nightmare) in the hex editor and put in the appropriate numbers/letters. I realize that was a lot to take in, any questions?

Hmm Well I went into FEditor and increased the max index so CHECK
I added the animation I wanted to add CHECK
Now I'm not to sure what to do from here I went into Nightmare and looked around but I don't know where I can find the animations I added. I went into the custom animations mod but the last thing I can pick is tent. I'm not sure how to increase my options.
After that (since I'm sure after I figure out the first part I'll get stuck here) I'm not sure what numbers I should be placing in the Hex editor.

For the animation you inserted, you need to know the address that it was assigned to. Then from there, you go into nightmare and find the address. It will NOT show the name of your class, because the class names are not read from the ROM, but instead whomever made the module set the name of say, Ephraim's class, to Lord.

For that, you look at what offset you're editing in the custom animations module, and go to there in a hex editor. then, you type in what numbers you would select in nightmare in order at that offset. When you come to the animation played slot, you type the number where you put the animation in (like 7C or 6A). Thats how you increase your options.
