does the nightmare program only work on windows? is there anyway i can find a download for a nightmare program that works on mac or is there another program similiar to nightmare that can be used on a mac? I really want to hack my fire emblem game and i even have the modules already

Nightmare 2.0 is java based and should work on all platforms with Java. Just install Java and use Nightmare 2.0 instead of plain-old "Nightmare".

i checked for an update on my java and im currently at the latest version. I tried running nightmare 2.0 and nightmare and they both did not work. When i launch one a window comes up saying application not found please choose one to launch this program and when i try and the launch the other nightmare, textedit opens up with a bunch of writing which has happened to me before with other windows programs that i try to use on my mac =/

Meh, you should say which one did what. Nightmare won't work unless your Mac can run Windows programs (which would make this topic pointless). Nightmare 2.0 should work, but there might even be some other things besides Java you need... I don't really know, and I wouldn't know what to look into, so I really can't help you. Sorry man, usually Java programs are functionally multi-platform...
